Lifetime Heavy Duty plastic shed has dropped in price again for the 7x7 version on Amazon. It's back at around £450.

Around £770 at Costco but out of stock there.

Went quickly last time. I missed that deal and the one before it. Likely to sell out again as it's a special deal price.

No free assembly for this deal but still a great price considering everything is going up generally!

This seems like a good deal, posted previously too.

Tempted but how well do plastic sheds hold up?

I've had a 8x6 wooden overlap crap shed for 10 years I paid £200 for, double doors and windows, now starting to fall apart, but can't get a wooden shed for even close to that now for that size.

Same shed is now over double waltons.co.uk/pro…8x6

These lifetime sheds come with a 10 year warranty. Mine arrived damaged last week from amazon the skylight had cracked due to the box being damaged. Amazon gave me a £67 refund for keeping it and after emailing lifetime support within a few hours I had a reply saying they were sending a brand new skylight with a 1-2 week shipping turnaround time. If you going to go for a plastic shed Lifetime are the ones to go for the quality of the plastic and moulding is a lot better than that of the keter factor range. (edited)

Tackling this job at the weekend. Any tips would be great and very helpful. Thanks

Watch the videos of assembling it, better than the instructions. When assembling the walls, start next to the door (corner) and work your way around to the other door. That way everything will fit together. The roof was the hardest bit for me. I got it all in place and screwed everywhere before attempting to fix it to the walls, was awkward at bits, but when you suss it, it falls into place.

    Good luck.

Be careful with box 2 as that contains the skylight mine was damaged from all the metal work on top of it crushing it.

I just ordered this through my Amazon Business account, and it gave me 15% off with code SBM15, up to £50 off limit.
So ordered a plastic grid deck to go with it from Ecodeck 8 x 8 feet.

Hope this helps anyone with a business account, they are super easy to set up.

    And 1 square foot bigger than a 6 X 8 (edited)

Clever. I've also got that discount code and have been wondering what to use on

Needed a bigger shed so I bought 2... From looking at instructions no reason why you can't just join two of the 7 inch shed kits together (leaving a spare set of doors and back panel) (edited)

Even your Spinal Tap Stonehenge won't fit into your 7" shed ;-)

The £75 installation cost seems cheap and worth it to add

I'd have gladly payed that but it only gave me the 7x5 option as I was a bit off with it saying 'estimate'

    Finally finished assembly.
    What a mission it was.
I think my base wasn't 100% level and the roof wouldn't go on.
Ended up having to assemble the penultimate panel and the gable on the floor and lifting up into the walls. Surprisingly it worked.
The crappy hss drill bit they provide was bent and snapped on first attempt. Luckily my neighbor borrowed me one and that did the job.
I ended up with 2 screws missing at the end but I may have lost them.
I have emailed Lifetime... I'm waiting to See what they say. Otherwise I'll just fine suitable self tappers.
The door is ever so slightly out of alignment and requires a gentle push to get lock on but it's fine.
Gripes aside, overall a very well designed shed at a decent price. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again if I needed another one

We had the same issue with one or two roof panels. Hanging off the roof panels and putting a bit of weight on them finally made them click into place!

Yep, same here re the drill bit - ours snapped on first attempt.

Just bought, didn’t add on the assembly option but looks like I might be able to buy that separately once we have base sorted.

I hate how the two photos with the wheelbarrow photos deliberately uses small people to make the shed look bigger than they are...misleading (edited)
    DealAddict's avatar
But the granny has a massive wheelbarrow. I thought they'd use a smaller one

What's the advised concrete slab size for a garage with these dimensions??.

Theirs around 200cmx200cm of floor space would this not be big enough?

Saying temporarily out of stock, any ideas on how long the eta is on new stock and delivery?

The last deal a few weeks back was back in stock within a few weeks. However, the price had increased to over £1000 after it sold out. I'd suggest you place an order if you want it at this price and just wait patiently for when it's back in stock.

My old wooden shed was there 25 years ago and is still in great condition. Is that a lifetime?

How well do they hold up? Not very well with fire apparently :S. Built an 8x8 costco one a few years back and filled it full of new bikes for the family. The neighbour had a bonfire one night, got woken up at 3AM a month later with the fire brigade putting out a molten mix of plastic and melted bikes, wasnt happy to say the least.
House Insurance took care of it thankfully.
    ando's avatar
Ye this is my main worry, not just neighbours, but I've burnt things in my garden before, my wooden shed has survived with no problems really except from a too large fire which slightly melted the roof, can't see plastic doing too well like you say.

If you want it I'd order before it jumps up in price and see how long it takes to come back in stock. Last time offer was on, price jumped to over £1000.

Looks like I just got it ordered in time. I was considering purchasing a second one but I guess not now that the price has increased significantly from the other seller.
