I posted this at £799 last Black Friday and now you can grab one for £232 less than that. It's not going to be for everyone, that's for sure. For what it is, I think it's a great price. It's a Mexican made instrument, for those wondering
Delivery is free and yes... it does have a bit of Creme Eggyness to it
Specifications
The Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster marks the 30th anniversary of the eponymous album by Scottish rock band Primal Scream, which gave the band and Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes their worldwide breakthrough in 1991 with singles such as 'Come Together' and 'Loaded'. To mark the occasion, the U.S. guitar maker is now launching a special edition Stratocaster with original album cover artwork, making a truly exceptional instrument available to fans and collectors in limited quantities, including Deluxe gig bag!
Classic Strat design
The 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster follows the classic recipe of the successful model, featuring a solid alder Stratocaster body shaped to traditional specifications and a solid maple neck with a modern C-neck profile. The latter is finished with a Pau Ferro fingerboard that presents a 22 fret medium jumbo format and a modern fingerboard radius of 9.5 inches.
Vintage Style '60s Single Coils
In order to skilfully reproduce the Stratocaster's strong character and versatile sound, the Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster uses three vintage-style '60s single coils. The three pickups are modeled after the classic pickups of the golden Strat era of the sixties and evoke the distinctive sound and response of classic sixties Strats in all five switch positions of the pickup selector.
Custom Screamadelica Artwork
As a unique custom design, the entire body of the Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster presents the original cover artwork of the 1991 album. Not only the instrument's lacquer, but also other hardware parts like the pickup caps, the pickguard and the poti caps were provided with the artwork to give the anniversary model its unique look.

I thought it was a cream egg for a moment. (edited)
Was really short sighted of me, although I do like my guitars to have something different about them. My tastes have settled somewhat and I'm more open minded these days.
The price point these launched at was quite frankly gross, ha. £799 I thought it was reasonable for those really wanting one (Big fans) and then this price... Well, I kind of felt like it hit a price point that might put it back on the table for those that just couldn't pull the trigger last year. (edited)
Love Screamadelica btw (edited)
Your guitar has likely nearly doubled in value if it's tidy.

Next time you're in Co-op and you see Creme eggs, you never know. You could find yourself going "Looks like a Primal Scream Fender Strat"
Edit: Its a good price though, so heat. (edited)
Any advice on the best stratocaster if I was going to get one for life? There's so many variants and I will try before I buy but I don't even think I could physically try them all. Also, is there a MAJOR difference between this and say what Dave Gilmore plays? (Besides £10,000 ish) Forgive my dumba$$ questions, I'm beginner - intermediate and don't know anyone to ask this stuff.

Also, you have to deal with THAT paintwork.

But does anyone else find it odd on a Fender when Innes plays exclusively Les Paul's and Epiphones?
I've seen him promoting it but the low output single coils sound thin and weedy for his bluesy grunt style of playing imho. It's a very odd pairing of artist and promotion. (edited)
