Search on the forum of Lion batteries - awful reviews.

They are cheap for a reason!

I had bought a Lion battery 5 years ago during the 2018 Beast of the East cold snap, and felt comfortable with the 3 year warranty.

It failed in the winter of 2020 and then summer was ok. Then failed in 2021 winter continuously. I contacted EuroCarParts who said to bring in the battery removed from the vehicle for them to check, and if it was deemed faulty, they would replace. It was disappointing that they couldn’t check the battery health whilst the battery is connected in their car park.

I switched to Varta and it’s been brilliant ever since.

Slightly more expensive but definitely worth the extra £.

This Lion battery is ok if you’re not keeping the car for more than 3 years and don’t mind issues in the cold winter months with faulty starts.

Had one of these in my new MG - it was dead and faulty within 6 months, swapped for an RAC battery and thats perfect. Would never use a Lion battery again

Was advised by the RAC guy to never buy a Lion battery - they don't rate them at all.

    As always, don't do it.

Will be ok if selling a car, but if you are keeping your car and need reliability, go for a Halfords one with 5-year warranty. Not much more expensive
