    I just went for the 12" version, the 10.5 inch and 12 inch have different designs on the bases

    Bit rich for my blood, but I have a Lodge "pancake pan" with low sides which is quite useful for a few different things. I started out trying a cast iron pan thinking it would be a trade off in ease of use compared to non stick (which seem to need replacing every year), but once it's properly seasoned I find it better for just about everything. Great fit for induction hobs as the thermal mass tends to even out the more "on/off" nature of the heating. And the texture means the pan actually holds onto oil even when it's hot, which is far better than non stick pans where the oil just runs off to the side of the pan immediately.

    Cheers OP, we are big fans of Yellowstone and the spin offs. Went with the 10.5 inch one. We’ve been using cast iron exclusively for the last few 12 months and will never go back now.

    They do take a little maintenance but I’ve found the trick is to a little mini seasoning every now and again - rinse, dry, heat on hub immediately and coat with. some oil.

    We fry a lot of eggs and ours is now 100% non stick.

    Any videos you could share that could help me learn your ways. I've used it a few times but washing is such a pain after making burgers steaks, eggs I can't even imagine

    Bought mine back in 2021 came from Aamazon US like this for £44 not seen it lower since then, good piece of cast iron use mine regularly on my grills and indoor oven.

    I had a lodge cast iron. Loved it - until the handle snapped off!! Couldn’t believe it. Thought they were supposed to last a lifetime.
