This type of chest freezer (in terms of litres) usually goes for more. Cheapest I could find and seems like a decent price.

How does this compare to the Haier 319 Litre Chest Freezer HCE319F. Coscto have this on for £299

    Replying to

I looked at a load before ordering this one.

The Haier wants a room temperature between 10°C and 43°C so no good if you want to put it in the garage or a shed. It also appears to be deeper at 74.5cm and if those dimensions are correct, it wouldn't have gone through the door I needed it to go through. However, it may be that those dimensions are including the handle which may have let it just squeeze through and then fit the handle afterwards. You do get the 2 year warranty though. (edited)

    That's standard price.

Has been cheaper but this is now - ideal for outside use as many are not suitable

I own this so far very good only
    Negative no internal light

And no external temp display (separate £10 from Amazon) (edited)

Can I sleep in this in Monday/Tuesday?

If you do, you may find you sleep well beyond Tuesday.

I have this freezer since April 2020 and I paid current price of £229. Broke after 11 months, got an exchange from Currys in March 2021. So far no further problems. This freezer is a re-labeled Fridgemaster also sold as Hisense at Costco for £349.

BTW comes with inside light, 2 baskets and can be used in a garage up to minus 15 degrees. (edited)

It's not the Hisense one. I compared both of them and the engine is totally different, very noisy and does different clicks)/sounds vs the Hisense. They are not the same. The Hisense is of slightly better built.

I ordered this a couple of days ago and the description says there is an LED internal light. I guess we will see on Tuesday when it is meant to be being delivered. I had a look at the ones that Amazon had on offer on Prime Day but none said they could be stuck in a shed. Also, hopefully getting 10% cashback :-) (edited)
