All Fridge Freezer Discounts, Offers and Sale - June 2019
Mea culpa, I was looking at the KFN 28032D which has a fan in the fridge section.
The manual page 48 says it isn't! The freezer doesn't defrost automatically :-( https://www.miele.co.uk/pmedia/ZGA/TX3587/10360580-000-00_10360580-00.pdf
The edo isn’t frost free. If you check this on Huges official website. It’ll say Forst Free - NO.
It is frost free. Generally, I find Miele fridges overpriced, but at this price you won't find anything better. I think this is a discontinued model, hence the discount.
Is this frost free? Dont think it is?
I notice the AO listings say "Get 20% off with code PURE20 plus free recycling!" which is worth something too (y)
For those who might be wondering: "Flame Retardant Metal Back: Yes"
Yup, 100% this, as soon as I read the deal title.
Just tobagree. We bought one. Its just a basic fridge with bits screwed on - just panels to look loke the old style fridge. We had bothing but oroblens eventually it went back. Terrible.
Smog? Must be made in china
Anyone who's looking for retro fridges, we've had a frost free servis retro fridge for a few years now and it's been fantastic. 5 years warranty and around 550quid
My parents have a Smeg FAB 50 Fridge freezer still going strong after 20 years. the shelves and door space is absolutely knackered and have been fixed with Copious amounts Epoxy resin and they no longer use the doors for storage but the compressor and relay has never had a single fault. like with every brand cost cutting and planned obsolesence plays a part.
I keep seeing Currys are bad, why is that?
We got one of their similar models, but with drawer freezer compartments for our galley kitchen. Works a treat, not had a single complaint.
I bought one about 3/4 year ago... American style.. brilliant.. Highly recommend. Bought from Co-op on offer... Currys are crappy, great brand.
Looks a good buy heat
Can't find this on the website, expired already?
good price for the specs, nice
Cold - Currys are shocking.
Thanks much appreciated :D
No idea as yet- The spec pound for pound is unbeatable right now. I've searched for the right fridge freezer for the last few weeks and this is what I went for, being delivered Friday 21st. All I can say is the reviews look very good 👌
I've got this fridge. Very nice fridge. Bought it from Currys in April for 379. Voted hot
Seems to have expired now, sorry you missed the boat. They do regularly reuse that code though it's worth keep trying every week. Still the price right now is still less than what I paid with the code if that's any better. But obviously saving that extra £97 is so much sweeter.
Code doesn't work . Says "we don't recognise that code. Please enter another"
Thanks. Used the code for a Samsung fridge freezer I was going to buy anyway. Saved me £119.90 (y)
Here's to hoping...
Liebherr make Pitsos? I have used their products for most of my life and had their products last for decades. If I could find them in the shops I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
Thanks Op! Also I took a paypal credit with no fee so will pay 29.08 monthly :D
I doubt there is one, but if there were it would probably be more. Liebherr make excellent refrigeration products but they’re not cheap.
This costs £349, so how much would the Liebherr equivalent be?
Any idea if the code works on others? Can’t see it on the site and looking for one a bit cheaper.
I was looking at a new bicycle the other day in the shop, when a guy walks over and starts talking like he was the authority on bikes (I'm not an authority by the way) and starts telling me all the spiel of how good it was compared to my existing bike. He said how amazing the Ultegra group set was on it. Then I told him that I had full Dura-Ace on my bike, and he said, Dura-Ace is good, but that Ultegra was higher rated than Dura-Ace. All nonsense of course. I don't think he was lying, just totally clueless as usual. It happens all the time in almost every aspect of retail. I guess it's a combination of laziness and lack interest in the job they do. But also poor management. I think it's all symptomatic of the apathy of society in general, and it affects almost every industry and public sector, not just retail. We seeing the gradual phasing out of the professional too. I had to explain to a Dr once that the medications she had given me were not suitable to mix together, and explain why. She even thanked me for letting her know! (shock)
No problem.i get a lot of sport out of asking the shops technical advisors questions then telling them to stop bulls**tting me just to get a sale... (devil)
Please dont put this in an out building if anyone buys it The temp range is suited to indoors only and given the temperature of our winters the compressor will fail and you will loose everything This is false advertising to say its suitable for an outbuilding
I got the Logik 199L one and has been in the garage since I bought it. Survived a bad winter without any trouble. Decent amount of space in it too. Got their oven too as ours broken and needed one urgently and it was super cheap, and it is way better than the branded one it replaced. Have their washing machine (the one that is pretty much a worst buy from Which) and it has been faultless. It was a gift though but I would definitely consider their brand. They even scraped the freezer bringing it into the garage and gave me an extra 30 quid off, not that I cared about a scrape with it being kept in the garage. They get a bad rep but our local Curry's PCW is pretty decent.
I really appreciate your advice - thank you. Pity there aren't too many that go down to -15. I don't have too much faith in Curry's/Logik.
I've got this fridge freezer. Really good. Got it from Currys for £379. Good price
The RB31 is slightly taller and has a bigger fridge space (same freezer on both). It also has a water dispenser, which is a bit of a Marmite feature.
Whats the difference between the more popular model RB31FDRNDSA and this?
Yep, Which? only recommend Miele, or similar top end brands for "wet electrical" appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers, as the improved quality matters most in complex kit such as these.
Wouldn't pay a premium for a Miele (Liebherr) fridge/freezer on the basis that refrigeration technology is pretty much the same across brands. Not only that, they don't have a valve at the back should the pump fail which is planned obsolescence on their behalf.
Attention all Audi drivers (y)
Just bought this. My spare beer fridge became our main fridge when we moved. At last we have a good value American style fridge and I get my beer fridge back
Looks a like a great deal. Thanks
I bought this last year. Think it cost me around £400. It’s great and looks far more expensive than what it is. Recommend 👌🏼
Valid point but we have a second big fridge in the integral garage so for us personally we don't really need the space in the main fridge. Plus we don't use the freezer a great deal.
Curry's tend to decline cashback when a voucher is used
I tend to agree. Husband really wanted the ice maker, but the reality was we just wouldn't have used it enough to justify losing freezer space. I guess if you have a G&T every night it might be worth it, but think about your habits before you buy.
Problem with ice maker freezers is the ice maker takes up a huge amount of space. I know it's cheap, but little plastic trays and water much better.
Ohhhhh man this looks good...
A very'cool' price. Thanks
Don't worry about any consumer rights being affected by using Quidco. You still purchase directly with whatever retailer you've chosen. It simply tracks how you got to their website that's all. Your payment isn't affected in anyway. If you are ever concerned about section 75 just always use a credit card as any issues you can speak to your card provider.
