I was going to pull the trigger on this holiday, but read reviews about the 1 hr 40 min internal flight from Male to Gan, plus a speedboat to South Palm.

People were missing the midday flight to Gan, and had to wait till 11pm for the next one. Looking at the arrival times with Bluebay Travel, the Emirates flight lands at Male at 2:30pm. So potentially a day lost at the resort. (edited)

Yes, the domestic flights can be a nuisance, so best to stay for longer than 7 nights.
