Single. The first in the series (Kingdom Battle) was 1-2 player though
Was looking forward to playing this coop as the first game was fun coop. Turns out it doesn't have it, the devs didn't bother since they said not many people used that mode in the first one. So I won't use my wallet on this one seriously, making an entire game full of different levels, characters, items, sounds, songs...
