It also lists some car models. I cannot guarantee this is exactly the same roof bar from Menobo.

Me to, the price for "no gap" Rails is crazy, Luckily I have some on long term temporary loan off my sister while I hunt down some reasonable price one's for my Mokka, think I'll get a new car before I find some though..
I think the Menabo Brio is for raised not flush roof rails. Good offer if they are suitable
Nothing special. Silver cloth / duct tape, but also used clear parcel tape. Just something that didn't stand out.
Tip, fit bars first, then mark bars for the gap, then take bars of to fit the tape unless you can manage to fit tape when bars are on. Another alternative would be to use some rubber trim in the track as a more aesthetically finish.
I'm in the same boat, I need a budget set for infrequent use on an Audi with flush rails. Refuse to pay the ridiculous official cost to use once a year.
Yes, they fit my BMW 3 series touring (e91). Bought a set a couple of years ago and they look identical.
Lidl don't deliver at this time like Aldi do (which is a real shame) so only ever in store. Good question!
I've updated the deal to reflect this (edited)
Ahhh okay. Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure. Cheers
They won't fit an F30 or F31. Go on ebay and search for summit roof bars. Around £87 and they're aero bars. Less wind noise.
true - which makes me think its a case of inconsistent stock levels and so they have withheld it for a later sale perhaps, when the rest of the stock arrives. So rather than having only some stores have it they have removed the ad for it entirely.
Perhaps the stores that do have it will continue to stock and sell it.
They're definitely not Thule quality - but if you don't intend to put them on and take them off every week they're ideal. As someone said they're the Brio model. (edited)
Think they'll fit any rails that have gap under to be honest. The grippers that grip the rails slant diagonally so the rails may need to as well to some extent.
Update: whistles like an old school kettle about to reach climax.
apparently a bit of tape underneath can fix the climaxing. Not sure about the whistling though.
None in Charlton.
That's good advice. What kind of tape did you use?
Despite being listed as an entirely different manufacturer (Hardcastle) the one you have linked to does look identical to the Lidl Menabo one.
Though interestingly the weight rating is only 60kg for the one you've linked to on Amazon versus 90kg for the Lidl one. Weird, I don't get it.
Thanks for the link
Looking to fit to a mk2 Tiguan.
Perhaps the stock didn't arrive in the country on time.
Possibly, though you would expect them to have pulled it sooner if that was the case.
Thanks for the update!
So they are in stock
