    I had the SP4. Still works well plugged in but otherwise I’m getting 20 mins on battery.
    As such, I’m toying with the idea of upgrading soon. What’s people’s thoughts on this SP or alternatives please?

    depends if you still need/want the touch screen format. as you pay the premium for it.

    The other trade off here being 256GB SSD, (although external 2230 ssd £70/120 for 1/2TB) means storage isnt an issue and the low RAM.

    Plus with the new model coming out imminently, probably worth waiting.

    Got a SP5 i7 myself but dont have the need for the touch screen side of it anymore.
