For a pack that size that is a very good price!
If there is one one thing I've learnt about backpacking: travel light. I would confidently travel for 12 months with a big half this size.
Osprey is vastly superior but technicals will last a while, theres a few Osprey bags on wiggle website with voucher code (think its newgb for new customers only) that are good value but the ones i looked at where only 33/40 litres but a good price for ospreys!
What does this make compare like to Osprey?
I got this tent for £144. I ordered some walking boots from Blacks for collection at Millets and it had a 10% off in store voucher at the end of the confirmation email. After I bought the tent, Millets then sent an email receipt with a 15% off voucher included. I'll now go back for the porch I think :)
family-making trips, apparently
"central loving area" Ahhhh yeah... :)
Having had 2 eurohike tents and being absolutely battered by rain for several consecutive days on costal N.Ireland, I can vouch these are the real deal if anyone has doubts. Oh and I can’t be 100% sure but it’s probable our first born was conceived in the loving area.
I have the 8 man version! Incredible tent! Can pitch it in around 25 minutes..so no real need for the "Berghaus Air" version which is only marginally quicker to put up and costs five times the amount. Havnt made use of the loving area yet though..
Really? Then I'd better bin my Meindl Burma GTX boots and get these! (lol)
Got me and the Mrs some Brasher country Master walking boots on black Friday from millets. £75 a pair, Bargain. Brilliant walking boots.
I do love my Hillmaster 2’s. Super comfy and with memory foam ankle supports. I’ve done many many miles in mine, and while they look tired, they still feel fantastic and I doubt I’ll ever need another pair. Only downside, they are not massively grippy on wet rocky stuff, but I can live with that.
you can usually get Hillmaster 2s for this at Gaynors
If they're Brasher branded then they're likely to be old stock as Brasher has now merged with Berghaus and they all now go under the Berghaus name.
Depends on how cold your fingers get Probably best to get sealskinz halo or brecon If you go out when really (-degrees cold) weather
how do they compare to winter gloves?
Thank you (y)
Thank you (y)
Bargain. Might treat myself to those also. Cheers
Just search rigger boots on amazon. Something like Theese ones
Hunters are fashion rubbish now - don't buy if you actually want to use them!
Hunter branding all over the millets page?
Yeah not hunter.. But apparently made by them.
But they’re not Hunter!
Instore I saw them
+ delivery or C&C ??
They were 2 for £10 on Sunday.
I like when it's listed as Mullets in the listing. Are the 80's back? Half price Mullets (lol) (lol)
Now is the winter of our discount tents.
On Topcashback's website - go to Millet's page. Scroll down.
Where do I see this information?
Also, to anyone buying, you will NOT get cashback. Says clearly on Topcashback/Quidco that no cashback is paid on any Garmin products. Given the price, it's important to know.
That's a great deal
If you spend over £60 in store you get another 15% off, so u can get around 65% off in the sale (y)
Cheaper on blacks with code
Got one on amazon not long ago for £11
I went into the shop today but didn’t have them so ordered it to home for free
Waterproof to 50M. Doesn't look like it records swimming
Is it waterproof and can it track your swimming sessions?
Yep, the RRP is £169.99
It's the full price on the Garmin shop!!
Thanks OP ! Ordered size Double for £7.20 + £1 c&c (y)
My son has taken 1 of these to Download festival for the last 3 years and we have one for extra guests. Good quality and fab price. Would recomend a foot pump too.
Daughter had a friend over last and our current air bed was flat this morning. Great timing, ordered. (y)
thanks, been searching for a level 3 backpack for ages
Incredible bargain. Got thie for £12.05 early in year from blacks and that was cheap. Good rucksack.
I have one of these. It's pretty reliable, but as someone else said they're not very water resistant.
I just tested Nottingham and various JD sports coming up e.g. Victoria centre, have done it as part of checkout e.g. add to basket, select click and collect and then add store (am on desktop). Hopefully you will get it sorted, thanks
ice15 don't work for me?
cmon... lets not beat around the bush... I'ts still the TA (lol)
Still available to order and collect in store. OS - I would presume means One Size
Used one of these when was in the reserves on a training exercise .... great item
Do they come in white?
I can wear these when I go out clubbing. ;)
a very warm welcome newbie.heat added :)
Vibrant soles on wet rock or tarmac is lethal. Contragrip is much safer FYI. I would not wear vibram even if they were free In the wet!
You get these Berghaus Men's Hillmaster II Gore-Tex https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/berghaus-mens-hillmaster-ii-gore-tex-walking-boots-normally-14850-but-priced-match-for-89999499-with-discount-card-purchase-3085931 For £89.99 on price match with discount card or £94.99
When I click to get deal its still at 229? Any ideas guys?
Go Outdoors are selling the Instinct bundled with the temperature sensor. So not exactly the same thing. They could use that as an excuse not to price match.
Price match this in gooutdoors and get it for £180 !!!
Nearly got an Instinct. Went for a Fenix 5 (non-Plus version) the other day. Felt inclined to comment the same. Always-on display (why smart watch users like tilt to display i don't know) and with everything on (including GPS in default mode, not always-on) I've used 35% battery charge in the last 3 days since I've owned it. Does all the notifications I need, and answering calls etc. Brilliant device, as I am sure is the Instinct. (y)
I’ve got one too, it’s fantastic !!
