A shoe to match the adventurous spirit of the trail runner, the Wave Daichi 7 GTEX trail running shoes feature Mizuno Wave, an EVA compound for increased stability and Michelin rubber outsoles for unmatched grip out in the wild.

GORE-TEX Upper
Surrounding the upper of the shoes is a breathable and durable GORE-TEX membrane. This will work to block out all moisture, helping to keep your feet feeling dry and comfortable in any condition. The membrane will also allow an optimum level of airflow to be passed through the shoe, allowing feet to remain cool and comfortable. Synthetic overlays are added to the construction of the upper, allowing feet to remain protected from bumps and knocks when out on the trail. The shoes have a cushioned collar and tongue to prevent abrasion or chafing from occurring, as well as, preventing any unwanted dirt and debris from entering, keeping you comfortable on the trail from start to finish. Completing the upper is a traditional lace-up system, allowing the feet to remain locked in and secure whilst running. Not only this, but the laces allow you to take them on and off with ease, whilst also providing feet don't slip around when inside the shoes.

Mizuno Wave Midsole
Mizuno's Wave technology is embedded into the midsole to provide flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement. The wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. A U4icX compound also features in the midsole of the Wave Dacihi 7's, and further delivers a stress-free cushioned ride with a high level of rebound. Furthermore, the midsole harnesses Mizuno's innovative AP+ midsole compound. AP+ guarantees an amazing ride providing cushioning and comfort levels that just go on feeling new due to a huge improvement in durability.

Michelin Outsole
The outsole of the Wave Daichi 7 is constructed from a Michelin rubber. This outsole delivers unprecedented traction and grip across all surfaces. Working in tandem with the outsole rubber Mizuno has added their XtaRide lug construction which is their own technical trail concept. This concept encompasses Xtatic lugs and Xtatic grooves to help adapt and work in perfect harmony, getting the best possible results on unpredictable trail.

I bought the mens version of these, I do not recommend them. First impression when putting them on was a bit tight on the width, next found they were slippy on a normal dry tiled floor and worse on wet paving stone.
    | tried to send back for a refund to this company, they were worse than unhelpful, first they wanted me to pay return postage, but then also said the picture I sent them, that they demanded, of the trainers, meant I could not get a refund, at this point I'd taken a dozen steps in them, from my living room across my tiled hall and onto wet paving at my doorstep.
The shoes were immaculate, I pointed this out, they couldn't care less, I strongly suggest you check this companies return policy, it's dire!
Also the heel has a sharp plastic insert which poked into my achilles, meaning padded socks were needed as they literally cut my heel, when I went on my treadmill wearing them, causing a painful scab, they also squeek when walking in them. These are the worst trainers I own, from the worst shoe company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with! (edited)

I have the mens also and agree really slippy. Like being on ice at times. I also have the wave mujin 8 and they are brilliant. Both mine have Michelin rubber soles but I can only trust the diachi 7 on soft ground on dryish days. I would not buy these again.
