I've had 4 Motorola phones and apart from the camera being a bit 'meh', the phones have been great with good battery life, having stock Android and being reliable. I love the Moto gestures to activate the torch or camera which I used more than I thought I would. Great phones. Now if only they would put in a decent camera, then this would be a killer phone.

Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Motorolo (g73 5G, 6.5 Inch Full HD 120Hz Display, 5G, Octa Core Processor, Android 13, 8/256 GB?

is there a better phone with this spec at this price?

For all round performance, I'd say the Pixel 6a. It's been listed new at £199 before from Voda and O2. And recently around £250 with a Tesco Mobile one month rolling sim.

    This or a Moto g82.

What small phones are comparable in speed to the Galaxy A52s 5g?

Iphone 13 mini and iPhone SE are options. But a little more money for what looks potentially like less performance.

Any small but good androids these days?

The best small ones are S23 and ZenFone 9/10.

The age of the small smartphone is mostly gone sadly. ZenFone FTW far as I'm concerned. Flagship specs and price though. (edited)

It's really annoying. I would jump in here but it is simply too big. Where's the market for those that do not want a HUGE screen? My only option it seems around the 200 pound mark is a pixel. Is that right?

That would be correct. Small, affordable Android phones don't exist.

I'd keep an eye on them. Judging by the comments on here - forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto-g73-5G/bd-p/moto_g73_5g_en

Classic Motorola issues by the looks of it

    - Heat/battery drain
    - Call drops
    - mic issues

No doubt the WiFi and Bluetooth enabled at the same time bug will be present too. (edited)

Would this be a step up from a Moto G 5g phone, although a great phone the battery charge is starting to drop away..?
    PR1's avatar
yeah I'd say so. I went g5 to g50 (due to screen breakage) which wasn't much of a step up if any, but then to this which was a bit snappier. I do think the g5/g50 battery lasted *slightly* longer though not a huge amount in it, and performance with g73 is better

Good deal - slightly lower than I paid a month ago. Overall good phone, a little snappier than the g50 it replaced. Battery life seems around the same in normal use, with the caveat that I think it draws a bit more on the rare occasions I put a more 'graphically intensive' game on than the g50.
