I was considering this card just because if its low power consumption and for 1080p gaming, to replace my Gt 1030, but then i saw a RX 6400 for £100, and have been very happy as i can now game at 1080p again and more importantly it consumer 53 watts max, 20 watts more than the GT 1030, and 70 watts less than this card, so very happy with the RX 6400 and glad i did not spend silly money on this 4060 card.

My 1060 6gb still plays games on high settings at 1080p and I'm still using a 10 year old CPU. I will only be updating the CPU/ram in the future as the graphics card suits me fine.

I wasn't intending to purchase a graphics card today but hey
I went for this over the 12TB 3060 to benefit from DLSS 3 which I'd expect to be of benefit in the long term.

As I'm coming from a 6TB RTX 2060 that still represents a bump up in memory for me. I'm glad I cheaped out on the 2060 as having a 12GB version would have complicated my decision making process

It will be a deal when it drops to £199.

If you can stretch to the 6700xt instead for ~£50 more you'll get a lot more bang for your buck

Unless you really value power efficiency, this is hard to recommend over the 3060 12GB at £15 less.

Also considering the 3060 is compatible with midrange motherboards, its definitely better if you dont want to spend as much on upgrades.

Need some guidance. Son is after a GPU. Has circa £300 to spend.
    Current set up is 5600g, 16gb ram, 1tb m.2 and 550w psu.
Any card will be a big upgrade on integrated obviously, but any advice appreciated in whether to go for this? He’s currently looking at a 3060Ti but needs to save a little bit more for that!

Feels like a better but than the 6650xt for 219?

Can someone show me something that proves the 3060 is better than this?

Everyone is saying the 3060 is a better buy but every benchmark I’ve watched has this performing at least 5-10% better.

You're correct, the 4060 performs better than the 3060 and uses much less power. People are annoyed that the VRAM has been downgraded, which may make it less futureproof.

But realistically, if you're gaming at 1080p, the VRAM should be enough. This is a much smarter buy.
