This support Display Port over USB-C hence the USB-C (DP Alt) input. So that's a useful addition. It means you can plug USB-C to USB-C from laptops, Chromebooks, Macbooks, Mac Mini etc that support it.

Would this be a good contender for development & gaming? I currently have a 31.5" LG monitor but find that it's not enough to split it to 2 screens. I was going to look at an ultrawide for development purposes, but thinking this may suffice being 1ms for gaming..

Yep this or any 34" ultrawide would be ideal if your looking to work on two things easily.

Not sure anyone cares since no real activity on this deal. But for any lurkers, I ordered this monitor on this deal after returning the HP X34 (34” UW). Night and day difference, plus a uniformed panel and better colours. Love the size, vertical increase and flat panel (controversial at this size), but I wfh a lot, utilising excel and powerpoint loads; so this monitor is ideal. For gaming (RTX 4070) really enjoying it on Cod, mmorpgs and strategy games. Very pleased with my purchase (the usb c power and display delivery is ideal for my work laptop too). (edited)
