Not even true 10bit, no BT2020 or 100% Adobe RGB coverage and poor HDR.

sike, its decent for that price afaik!

But personally I'm waiting until micro led takes over before spending near the £500+ on a new monitor now.

Unfortunately microLED will be expensive for quite some time, it's not even released to consumers yet. You will however see next generation OLED technology around mid 2024 to late 2024 and also miniLED improvements. miniLED has OLED like blacks and is capable of higher brightness values than OLED. Samsung has delayed their microLED TVs until 2024 and also Apple will be using microLED in 2024. However I can't see any conceivable way microLED will be available in a standard sized monitor for £500 in the short term especially as there's 0% consumer production currently.

We should see the first consumer microLED monitors in 2025+ so you're looking at a fair distance in the future to get a microLED monitor for around £500. Probably 2030+ who knows though maybe the production difficulties will be solved before then. (edited)

probably lowest on the priority list for the majority of people looking to buy this type of display to be fair. Larger and more accurate colour space & luminance reproduction will be far more important since the footage people would be working on with these will either be stills or 24/25/30/50/60fps video
