    For those not understanding the movie, it's a woman's tragic venture into Hollywood told via her coping fantasy of the happy version. Parts may be out of order or alternate between the reality and fantasy.

    The stuff that seems not connected to anything probably isn't, the director threw some things in at random and it genuinely doesn't make sense.

    Those two angles are all you need really.
