I'm looking at the size of this unit, and wondering what size the nvme SSD inside it is?
Anyone see what I'm thinking here.

It's probably soldered parts and not a 2230 / bridge

The 512gb was £34 on Amazon up until yesterday, I think. And it is not much more expensive now. It's worth having a look. For such a small difference in price, it's better to get it from Amazon. If you need 1TB+, the price is much better on Ali Express.
If the small form factor is important, have a look at this one. Different capacity and no cable needed: hotukdeals.com/dea…504 (edited)

just a heads up - two reviews on aliexpress

I expected much more of the product. It is very practical light. More is not 2000mbs because using PC on USB type C it only reached 973mbs reading and 878 writing. Could be at least about 1500mbs. Overall meets. Well compact. Is light

Speed is much lower than offered. I use quite a few SSD brands and this is misleading advertising. For example, a sandisk SSD extreme E61 that offers 1050 mb/s of reading and 1000 mb/s of writing reach very close values when testing. However, it is supposedly 2000 mb/s of reading and writing, it does not even reach a third. Therefore misleading advertising. I just hope it lasts and doesn't lose my data in no time.

That's because they are using it on non 3.2 2x2 usb ports

also don't forget you need to add 20% vat to the final value you pay.
the prices in the tile are therefore a bit misleading.

I bought a 1TB from Amazon a few months ago, and it’s a fantastic buy.  But I wouldn’t buy something expensive from AliExpress because a. claiming on a warranty failure will probably be a nightmare, and b. I wouldn’t trust it to be a genuine Netac device.
    Just my personal take.

Totally agree with ya....I've had problems in the past with AliExpress and faulty items and get getting my monies back...so I refuse to buy anything major from them for years now...just a couple non expensive cables and stuff of that kind of value (edited)

Great prices, defo better than the one I found earlier, however the 3yrs warranty via AliExpress is not the same as the warranty you get via Amazon UK. Just to keep that in mind. Voted hot for the prices!
