Cooking big meals is a breeze with this Ninja Foodi MAX air fryer. It's got 2 baskets and a massive 9.5 litre capacity, so you can make enough for up to 7 or 8 people in one go. And because it needs just one spoon of oil, you can enjoy your favourite fried treats without the guilt. That means chicken goujons and golden chips with up to 75% less fat than traditional frying.

Good to know

- The Sync function makes sure both baskets finish cooking at the same time – no more burnt chips waiting for the chicken to be done
- The Match function copies the settings of the first basket to the second, so you can easily cook twice as much
- Switch to the Roast setting to get perfectly crispy roast potatoes to go with your big meal
- Serve a cake for pudding – this air fryer can even bake
- Try the Dehydrate function to make delicious snacks like vegetable crisps and dried fruit slices
- Fried foods taste even better without the thought of washing up – this fryer has dishwasher-safe baskets that take the hassle out of cleaning

Can anyone recommend this one over the sur la table one? Unsure which one to get

I had the sur le table one from Costco. Used it once and the touch pad light under the buttons stopped working. Returned it and there were other 2 behind the counter. It's a shame really because it seemed really good. It still worked but you couldn't see the settings on the right side .

Blue Light Card takes off another fiver.

Topcashback is also offering 5.5%, not sure if you can use all discounts though. (edited)

Cash back is usually declined if you use codes not 'approved' by TCB

Got this exact model, you can’t go wrong. Would recommend getting an instant read thermometer as well

I've found that on the whole this device is great. Probably the little metal shelf for each drawer is essential. Certain foods however are always a nightmare to try and cook in it. They will always get burnt.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have been using the included manual. It’s handy but frozen chips for example need way less time than indicated in the book. Can imagine other foods will be the same

Word of warning, the temperature probe system on ninja units, air fryers and foodis are prone to developing a fault which prevents the unit from starting. It just says 'plug in' because it can't tell if the probe or bung are plugged in. So you have this perfectly functional device that is utterly useless because of a sensor error and customer services do not want to know.... Really infuriating because they're not cheap.

The 400uk doesn’t have a probe. I agree that the probes aren’t the best. I’ve had the same problem with the 651uk grill. Ninja were good and replaced the probe then the whole unit but it’s a problem with the probe. It doesn’t render the unit inoperable though. You just put it in manual mode. I bought a MEATER probe block and it brilliant now. Even gives me estimated time to completion which is much better then the ninja probe

I've just ordered one for collection from a local store. Can anyone let me know if I really need to give them an item to trade in? May a desk calculator be considered a kitchen tech???

I traded in my wife, was no hassles. There were also a few of them behind the counter in the bins.
