There's a £264 offer for the same deal on an existing website called DealMonday. My son was looking yesterday but we were shocked as these limited editions don't come with the game and it was our topic of conversation.

Just looked on Dealmonday. Have you ordered from there before? Seems to be very good prices, but I suspect with the longer than normal delivery and mentioning customs/import tax that stock will be non UK. (edited)

I bought 2 of these ready to sell in 10 yrs unopened for £1k each.

Where is the shortage? Looks like Nintendo made plenty of these versions and added more stock to the Pokemon and Splatoon editions as well (of which I have 2 of these, too)

    Ahh, well.

Decent returns 3x your investment in 10 years. If you put in it the market you’re looking at 8% per year that’s 80% in 10 years.

So I had a V2 Switch and pondered this for a while but in the end got one, yes there is the argument it needs upgrading but I have no regrets this is a stunning piece of kit and now having the OLED screen is awesome

    Which upgrading?

If you look at old 3DS models that were themed, even when superseded there is value there still. Is however a risk and hit and miss re investing. Should really consider if the Steam Deck gets its act together in the next 2 years, okay its not great now with the v.1, but if release a decent v.2 SD, that could hit Nintendo Switch hard even in the short to medium term.

In the next 2 years?? Blimey a Switch successor will very likely be released in that time!!
