I have one of these for work and the features are great. The camera system is brilliant. I don't like the gearbox however and the fuel economy is not great. You'll be lucky to get 50mpg on the motorway doing 60 mph

I bought the grey version of this car in the similar deal that was posted on here a couple of months back.I must say I am very pleased with the car.

Has anyone used this dealer? I ordered my car in Jan, was due in April/May, then they said August now they are saying September.

Unfortunately as Im finding this is nothing to do with the dealer, more to do with the supplier? Semiconductor issues and the likes, this is not only subject to car dealers it is industry bound tough times for at least a couple of years yet.

my mechanic's words: new cars built after 2019 are not so well checked, built from unproven parts, they can have many shortcomings

Then your mechanic is an idiot. Do you have any idea how much validation and verification goes into every part in a vehicle? With the sheer volume produced, of course there will be lemons. But someone that changes brake pads doesn’t have much insight into the regulations that govern vehicle design, I’d take that with a pinch of salt.

Got the new Juke.......lumpy 3 cylinder engine. Nissan having had it three weeks can't find anything wrong with it............ Not overly impressed with Nissan as a whole.

    This or Toyota C-HR

Toyota C-HR with 1.8 litre hybrid engine has a real world mpg of 58.2. So it's alright and a solid decent car. Nissan has the gizmos such as all round camera view but the smart money is with Toyota.

Very dull car for that kind of money accept that it’s new but I’d rather buy a used something more exiting that’s depreciated to that value. Everyone’s preference

Have you seen the market? Used cars practically appreciating at the moment. My dealership was selling a 1 yr used version of a car I have ordered for £3k more than the factory order.

What does a mild hybrid actually do.. help power up the indicators?

Very little, I haven't checked out Nissan's system but Landrover's uses a 0.2kwh battery, enough for maybe half a mile. Still if it regen brakes, helps you set off from the lights, stop starts the engine and powers the AC at the lights that'll all help efficiency.

If we stand as a nation then that's when something can be done. We are all just paying for the fuel and moaning but doing nothing about it.

Yup you could do. Or petrol could come back down to a “regular” price. Who knows what will happen 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looks like the list price of this particular model is £30,275 - so a nice discount given the market…

Lets hope it has improved over the old version, I had the 1.2 Tekna Auto Petrol brand new (18 Plate), Had so many different issues with the car - it was off the road for 71 days in total, and a new engine (after 8k). Nissan was nice to offer £200 compensation of another Nissan after all the issues. Never again

At these sort of prices I rather get a second hand BMW/Merc. The design will outlast these Nissan which become outdated within a few years.
    gg1pl's avatar

There's nothing modern with the design of BMWs, it hasn't changed and it's pretty generic, whats outdated wih this Nissan?

The design of the BMW will outlast the cars own engine and brake system though with its rubbish reliability and recalls. You can admire the cars exterior when it's sitting in the garage (edited)

These cars are all outdated. Now they(usa, old man) created chip crisis to not decrease sale of petrol cars. Due to chip crisis they increased petrol cars even more and slowed down electric cars. Therefore, this car is max 10k as real market value. If you are not in rush these cars soon will be so much cheaper. Petrol is outdated although usa is giving life it

    Hateful vehicles!
If you consider your car a 'thing with wheels' and nothing more it's the car for you.
If, however, you care about comfort, practically, performance or have a soul, buy something else.

These are nice cars but endless niggles from my father's one he owned from new - parking sensors stopped working, engine needed replacing after 40k miles due to excessive oil consumption (it was the older, horrible 1.2T though), fuel economy was never great (45mpg on a run, 20-25mpg urban), stop-start was fussy, in-car entertainment system would reboot in use, the metal work is quite thin and prone to car parking dings and finally the CVT gearbox almost completely failed at 70k miles (very common for this and the Juke - see all forum posts).

All in all, he went back to Toyota and is happier than ever now - it does feel that while the cars look good and are feature packed, they seem to have been made to a budget with costly repairs if anything goes wrong.
