sorted byOnly 2 years of OS upgrades from the global launch date of Nokia G21.
So no OS upgrades after Feb 2024. Thats only 7-months from now.
On the other hand "Nokia G21 receives in total 36 security updates from the global launch of the device. Other smart phones in the same price point receive on the average up to 16 security updates during their life cycle."

It's worse than that, as Nokia is quite underhand and launches phones with the previous year's version of Android (in this case, Android 11, even though Android 12 had been out for several months prior to launch). It does now have Android 13 on it, but won't get any more upgrades, just security updates when Nokia can be bothered.
From my own testing, the performance seems on par with the SD665 fitted to the Nokia 5.3 - yes that's an old chip, but I never had any performance gripes with it (the stock Android experience no doubt helps). (edited)
I need to sort a phone for a relative, and have to keep the budget low, but still get a decent-ish device
