Dual Cook Flex: Access just the top half or the full oven
Save over 25% on your energy with Dual Cook Technology*
SmartThings: Monitor and control your oven anytime, anywhere**
Air Fry: Cook healthy, crispy food by using hot air circulation

Creating two cooking zones in a single oven sounds a bit like wizardry. But it's easy with this Samsung Dual Cook Flex oven. Bake cookies while you roast a chicken – it won't transfer smells. Dual fans help to waft warm air right through the oven, so everything cooks evenly. The hinged Flexible Door means you can access the whole oven, or just the top half. If you just open the top, you won't lose any heat from the bottom half. . And when you're done, it will be easier to clean thanks to the catalytic liners. They use the heat of your oven to break down grease so you won't need to spend as long cleaning. If you're cooking a smaller meal and don't need the whole oven, Dual Cook lets you save over 25% on energy - and as an added bonus, it pre-heats 52% faster when you're only using the top half.

Good to know

- Cook healthier crispy food using Air Fry – it uses hot air rather than deep frying
- SmartThings connectivity means you can get recipe suggestions, guided cooking or even create a weekly meal plan
- The A+ rating and fast preheating means you'll save energy and it won't cost the earth to run
- Stop little hands from causing chaos – this Samsung oven has a child safety lock

It’s a shame the stainless steel models don’t have pyrolytic cleaning, I guess it is to limit it to a 13A plug. The black version does, it’s £90 more.

NV7B5750TAS is actually NV7B5740TAS. On there website when added changes to NV7B5740TAS

This one is fantastic oven and it uses fraction of electricity than heating the whole if you’re making small portions.
Pizza on the bottom ones comes out nice and crispy at the base.
I have fully Digital Touch controls and when it’s off there is eye pleasing display with just time on it.

What’s the difference between an ‘air frier’ and a standard ‘fan oven’? As far as I can tell they both work on the principle of a more concealed element with a fan that then  just blows the heat the heat around the oven.

I guess it must blow it round a lot faster, but I think the whole point of a normal air fryer was the size being smaller so using less energy.

Thanks heat added was looking for a built in oven with Air Fry, purchased 2 for my new build, so got the extra 5% 834 for both, Curry's 799 currently for one, plus 400 quid's worth of mindful chef vouchers.

I bought this oven and had it installed this week, couldn't believe the saving. Haven't used it properly yet but loving the dual flex feature for novelty value alone!
EDIT: Sorry just realised my models is all black with pyrolytic cleaning, model NV7B5750TAK. (edited)

I actually purchased the NV7B5750TAK/U4 but had to send it back this week as faulty!! Kept stating door was open when it wasn't. Now thinking of ordering this one which I think is the same but with silver as opposed all black. Can you confirm if the silver is bright stainless/brushed chrome? Also did fitter put on seperate 16a circuit or 13a plug. Many thanks

Does anyone know if there are any double ovens? Or how to fit these into a double oven space. How would you fill the gap if they are shorter in height?
    Andrew_Smithi5f's avatar
I was thinking the same. Was thinking I could fit the microwave in the space

    Are these ovens any good?

    Definitely

Can't find this via my EPP. Closest model is the NV7B5750TAK at £889. Are others finding it? Or does it have to be via their Student portal?

Edit: Scratch that. Sorted it. I went via my sdworx portal and it opens up different models at different prices!

So, the Stainless Steel version (NV7B5750TAS) at £439 has 'Catalytic Cleaning', whereas the black version (NV7B5750TAK) at £529 has Pyrolytic Cleaning.

Edit 2: Thanks to the OP. I've decided to order the xxxTAK version and got it over 24m 0% from PayPal.

It's replacing a 10yr old Samsung Dual Zone oven which is actually still working, albeit temperature control seems to now be a bit off. This new one has a few new features which I'm looking forward to using - the Air-Fry, dual doors and sliding rail (all things my current oven doesnt have). (edited)

Doesn't anyone do gas ovens anymore? Cheaper to run
    MrFizzy's avatar
When ours finally gave up a couple of years back, we found the range of gas ovens to be incredibly limited. Ended up going electric in the end.

Was originally going to purchase a large oven and a microwave/oven combo for over the top, but it works out so expensive and truthfully we’d only use the oven part of the combo for Thanksgiving and Christmas (when we need to do proper potatoes at the same time lol).

This would be perfect being able to have a smaller space throughout the year and split temperatures for those particular occasions.
  15. andrewt1's avatar
Can this be plugged into a normal 13A socket like single ovens?
    arfster's avatar
    It's 3950W so it'd blow the plug's fuse at max power (3950/240V= 16.5A).

You can still get pluggable ovens, but you have to look for sub 3kW and check the installation details (edited)
  16. jamal98's avatar
Can I turn on the oven from my app or just play with settings?

Also Samsung are terrible to deal with (edited)

Delivery was attempted this morning (amazingly quick) unfortunately, the door was smashed and as the two-man team wheeled it across the pavement from their van to my door a load of glass fell out of the bottom!

They actually tried to pretend it didn't happen! And then asked, "So you want to refuse delivery, then?" Yeah! Kinda!

I got one from the student deal and it has a chemically smell when I use it. It stinks! Is that normal?
    wendy07's avatar
You need to run it for an hour at high temp to burn off any chemicals. It's in the instructions booklet.

The specs doesn’t mention about grill function. Any help, has this got the grill feature
    colin7777's avatar
Yes it has full grill for the top oven
