I am part of the On test crew and several years back these along with the cloud surfers were the main running shoes (albeit earlier versions of the shoes)- I have done several races upto marathon distances in the earlier versions of the shoe. Over time as marketing kicked in and other models came out it has been pushed towards the leisure wear market. I would still run in them , but they do have better models such as the surfers that have greater cushioning if your not experienced or new to the sport and want to have comfort and less risk of injury (edited)

Must be 'ON drugs' to buy these

What drugs? Makes no sense. They’re for running. The Facebook level of comments on here is amazing every time a pair of running shoes are posted.

I’ve just got a pair of these (not from here) and can confirm they are very comfy. Haven’t even had to break them in which is even better

Paid £70 for mine, although that was using my 50% discount with Vitality Health Insurance. I’ve had 3 pairs of ON trainers in the last 4 years and they’ve always been great. Tried a pair of Brooks one year and found the quality poor in comparison. (edited)

What you mean not having to break them in?

Had 3 pairs of Ons, 1 pair brilliant other pairs rubbish, the tread just attracted stones was half a kilo heavier by the end of the run, didnt feel cushioned and the heel support at the back rubbed through on all of them. For running Id keep clear for gym or just walking Im sure they are fine. Best value running trainers Id say currently are Puma Nitro Velocity 2s you can pick them up for circa £45/£50 (edited)

Missed my size. Great price. More leisure than running for these ones.

Cracking find - I haven't been able to fault any pair of ON's bar the subscription shoes - but thats only because they come 'undyed' lol.

Just ordered a pair for training rotation.

They have 8.5 but seem too small. Get 9 instead

How are these sizing wise? I Tried Brooks a few years back and they always came up small and narrow (I do have wide feet though)
