I am also using this. If you want ultimate security and do not mind carrying a heavier lock, you may use OnGuard Brute (16.8mm steel shackle vs 14mm of this OnGuard Pitbull) - this is only £22.99 now. tredz.co.uk/.On…htm (edited)

Shackle on Brute is only 200mm long, is this enough for a medium size e-bike if I want to secure the rear wheel and frame to a post?

When i bought mine, half price at 25 quid, it came with the cable too so you can lock your wheels and frame. This literally is the 2nd best lock out there and the best in the under £50 budget. The next one is the Kryptonite New York range with are between about £50 and £100.

NO LOCK IS 100% - But some locks are better than others. Use a lock if you have no choice and pray you don't get targetted. Otherwise, don't leave your bike.

The police do not care about bike theft. You will hear from them 10 days later, even if your bike is worth £1,000. It happened to me. FACT.

Definitely better options now - a couple of new locks are angle grinder resistant. Not cheap though!

Solid lock. Used multiple for many years, always had smooth operation and never seized up. Only negative I could say is the bracket isn't the most durable, but I think there's a new version with a slide in (rather than twist in) mechanism that is much more sturdy.

These are a heavy beast of a lock and a tip for anyone trying to keep bike frame scratch free, get some 15mm grey foam pipe insulation and some cable ties and wrap around bar sorted!

Good lock, the bike holder it comes with is likely to break easily though (edited)
