I had the X5 Pro and whilst the specs were good, I was sooo happy to get rid of it after 1 year of using it.

I've never had a phone get SO hot as much as it did, and also the battery life was terrible after a few months.

I would not recommend anyone to get the Pro version as it uses the Snap 8 Gen 1 CPU which is universally known as one to MISS due to the heating and battery issues.

This non pro version apparently uses the Snap 888, no idea how different it it.. but personally I wouldn't risk it..

Still using x5 pro and I had nearly from launch in uk, change it from p30 pro, which I missed at start but after 12 version overheating and camera improved a lot, very fast charging is bonus, playing codm daily so should be first to complain about life and overheating, but my phone doing really well, actually overheats less as p30 pro when I am playing...

I've been using mine for a few months and absolutely love it. Have had no issues with heat and the battery is amazing compared to my old P20 Pro. Also conveniently charges super quick using my laptop charger.

Mine was also refurb excellent from GG, you would have assumed it was new.

    Coupled with this case amazon.co.uk/dp/…ils

Although on a tangent because of reference to later models, I found this article interesting and thought I'd share it with peeps trustedreviews.com/ver…189

Ordered a Poco f5 a few days ago, but thinking of returning it and getting this instead. Too many negative reviews for camera, speakers, screen brightness sensor, signal, and miui bugs on the poco. Plus the charging port and selfie camera failed on my Poco f2 pro

All gone now I think but they should come back in stock at some point.
I've only just got mine today (from another source), but it seems a steal to me for anywhere around £200

Thanks and whoever posted it . I've taken a punt.

Been looking for a work phone for a while.
My regular phone is a OnePlus Nord 2 5g.
So perhaps it'll become my day to day.

I was gutted to miss out on the Neo recently at a cheaper price but this should do the trick.

Anyone recommend a solid case for this? (edited)

I've had mine a couple of weeks now.

There were no signs it has ever been used/touched.

So we either practically new, or giffgaff are good at refurbishment.

    Thanks again for posting.

Review suggest heating and battery issues

I've researched this phone quite a lot over the last month or so and to be honest I've not seen any more alarming reports on heating and battery issues than I do with pretty much every other phone (one review will say a phone is great and another says no good - pretty much par for the course!). Maybe I'm missing something? I'd say at least 90% of the reviews I've read / watched on YT say what a great phone this is (and at a much higher price when new on release). I've got one coming myself - but not from this deal - so I guess I'll find out for myself soon enough. (edited)

After bigging it up I've just driven off with this phone on my roof and destroyed the screen Any suggestions where to get a replacement? Amazon have no reviews otherwise I take a punt on Aliexpress!

I received mine and I noticed that the pictures taken with the main camera are slightly out of focus on the left side. I'm sending it back. :/

You had the same problem on a mate 20 pro didn't you? That's got to be very bad luck.
As feedback ( might be interested in this), I've been using mine for a few days now and I've found the photos to be excellent and a lot more 'natural' than the Pixel photos, which aren't bad of course, but a bit more heavily processed in my view. The display is great quality - not too curved - and performance / battery life have been excellent as well. Build quality feels great.
The only thing I've found a bit difficult the get used to is the additional size/weight coming from my 6a. I will persevere and hope I can adjust. Also, cases that I like seem few and far between. (edited)
