    Could you use this to clone a partition to install a larger SSD?

    You can put your new NVMe drive into this and clone the drive in your computer to it, then swap them over. You could do that with a single bay enclodure for less money, though.

    If you don't need a dual bay I recommend the Lexar E6 because it's well made.

    I'm so tempted to buy this even though I have absolutely no use for it. If it used a single cable to access both drives at once, i probably would buy it.

    I don't think, so otherwise we won't have 2 ports on it.

    I believe these are independent bays so to use both drives at the same time would require 2 cables.

    I think you are right. i had a trawl through the customer reviews and this is mentioned - one connection for each drive.
