A Breakthrough Gaming Architecture

AMD RDNA™ 2 architecture is the foundation of next-generation gaming PCs and consoles. It is the bedrock of the upcoming revolution in PC gaming graphics and cloud gaming.

AMD RDNA™ 2 elevates and unifies visual effects and gameplay across multi-gaming platforms, like no other graphics architecture before.

Contrast Adaptive Sharpening

Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) helps increase visual quality by enabling stunning visual sharpness with optional upscaling to restore detail lost after Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) is applied. For games that support FidelityFX CAS, turning off Radeon™ Image Sharpening in Radeon™ Software to avoid over-sharpening is recommended.

Variable Shading

Using RDNA2 architecture and variable rate shading allows fidelityFX to analyse luminance and motion of frames to help optimise rending to ensure you also get optimal performance without reducing image quality.

Ambient Occlusion

AMD RDNA™ architecture-optimized Combined Adaptive Compute Ambient Occlusion (CACAO) dynamically and efficiently helps improve the appearance of objects based their exposure to ambient light.

Screen Space Reflections

AMD’s implementation of Stochastic Screen Space Reflections (SSSR) delivers high-quality reflections with minimal overhead via an optimised compute shader and AMD RDNA™ architecture-optimised denoising.

Denoiser

Denoising optimised for AMD RDNA™ architecture to help improve the visual quality of real-time raytracing and other in-game effects.

HDR Mapper

Optimised for use with AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro1 displays, AMD’s Luminance Preserving Mapper (LPM) delivers superb HDR and wide color gamut content.

Although this is the cheapest, you don't get a copy of Starfield with TND. Ebuyer has the card £10 more expensive but they participate in AMD rewards. £10 Starfield is defo worth it in my books. Anyway, hope this helps someone. (edited)

This is a good point. I've been hoping this card would drop to around £300, but I did come close to buying it from Ebuyer last week because of Starfield. Hmmm

Can someone help me out, I currently have an nvidia super 1660 6gb GPU in my rig and have been thinking of switching over to a Radeon GPU so I can still game and also get Hackintosh setup on a spare SSD.

Is this GPU going to be noticably better than what I currently have for gaming?

Would be nice if you could get a reference or made by AMD model for this price. The Fighter range is bottom tier.

You say bottom tier, But what exactly does that mean, If you had this in your case under your desk and someone swapped it out for a Strix or something would you be able to tell, How could you tell.

We know overclocking gives you next to nothing, So if both are running at spec speed how would you know, But the Strix will run cooler you say, Well unless your licking the heat stack while your playing games, Who cares if it runs a bit hotter.

Seems decent deal but it is a worry if you buy a new card and it has this Coil Whine; This must be a faulty graphics card surely eligible for free return ?

    Should I get the 6650XT, 7600 or this 6700XT?
