Forgot to add this price is the saver price so no cancellations or ammendments
no probs like I said thanks for looking anyways
Not bothered as imo they are different dates / locations I'm posting. And someone looking for Gainsborough probably won't be looking for chester
thanks but by posting one at a time its going to get cold
Thanks for the info... Appreciated
£36 for this September. Sunday 30th.
Added an extra night (Monday) and it's £144!! I've stayed at this premier inn once before, would recommend if you just want one night away with comfy bed and excellent shower.
A couple of cheap/free things that can be done from walking distance of this hotel. Megabus London tours depart from the tower of London for a 2 hour guided tour (guided by a recording). Nice opentop bus, not busy, we paid 8 quid for a family of 4. The sky garden is a great alternative to the london eye. Completely free viewing area at the top of the 'walkie talkie' building, has a resteraunt, coffee shop and a small botanical garden type area. The views are amazing. This is free but spaces need to be booked on their website , tickets released a week in advance on a Monday morning.
That goes for most if not all hotels.Because its a working day the following day and a lot of people stay for work during the week they have gone home. And then you have the people away for a weekend ( generally staying Saturday only ) because they dont want to travel after getting home from work on a Friday.BUT having said that you can get a reasonably cheaper deal for a Friday night stay compared to a Saturday night.I quite often go on the Friday, you've then got ALL day to look around / shop before heading home late afternoon /early evening depending how far you have traveled.Im lucky enough that Bournemouth is only an hours drive away.
Literraly just across the road. You usually get free parking in their car park when its not busy too
Great thank you exactly what I needed to k ow
I stayed there before as a base to visit Chessington and it was ideal for this purpose. We used to Overground to get to Chessington and it was 5 mins from tolworth and incredibly easy. We got the bus from Chessington south to save little legs. Tolworth itself was completely fine. There were shops and takeaway's locally so we could get food to take back to the hotel room. Yes, it's not the fanciest of places but we were only there to sleep rather than for a visit. The room itself was clean and fine for our purposes. (It was another cheap deal I found through this site for Chessington and accommodation). I'm so grateful for this site and how it's enabled us to afford trips away that we wouldn't otherwise. There's no pleasing some people though!
Great is there some nearby that you know of?
That's ok really don't care about what is around at that price get up the evening before, have some dinner and go to Chessington next day. £6.50 per person!
Just as an FYI the bathrooms have glass walls, they are frosted to about 6ft and then clear above. Great location and price and couldn't fault our room, although we had no windows in the basement
Pretty standard pricing across London for Hubs, if you can book at least a month out. Example, I've just booked for Charity Shield night (Sun 06 August) at Kings Cross Hub for £40. Don't let small rooms put you off - these are perfect for a short stay, and my go-to hotel chain for business trips to London - I normally stay at Tower Bridge site.
This hotel offers twin bookings too. I booked this recently and my trip was cancelled, but I couldn't cancel two first class train tickets nor the hotel, so I sent my mum and sister and they changed the room to a twin for me to accommodate them instead. They were suitably impressed, even if it was a little underwhelming.
Some can make the rooms into twins (e.g. Kings Cross Hub) just call them ahead great hotels, simple but modern - and don’t forget the free coffee in the cafe (again, ask them
Lol you should have stayed at home by the sounds of it. It's not that bad, all part of the hustle and bustle of a trip to London. I enjoyed the train ride from there, got chatting to a elderly guy from the West Indies. Really interesting guy, by the time he got off I had his life story and we shook hands as he departed into that London.
Again it's 30 to 40 minutes on the Tube to central London. I was in Wembley for a concert at the weekend, I wouldn't shout about the shopping it's pretty crap.
Really, it's 30 to 40 minutes on the tube, which is fine if that's your preference!
I know that feeling! Airbnb is pretty good though. But prices hike during holidays as with everywhere.
Travelodge still works out cheaper for me in London :)
Now need to find a girl..
You're very kind. His name is Carlos and is now 5 years old. He's half Welsh and half Colombian. I will let him know that you said such a nice thing about him.
Why can't Whitbread put some decent restaurants next to it's hotels? Beefeater, Brewers Fare and the other one are all dreadful.
Your baby is so cute
That bmw in your pic is amazing
Excellent Deal, booked
Is that a metaphor? ;)
Wait, 100,000 rooms for £29 :/. Now that’s a bargain. I can get my multiple kids individual rooms (embarrassed) (embarrassed) . Hot!!
Saturday stay booked. Brilliant. £29 is a bargain and better than the blow up bed option!!
A travelogue is defined as "a film, book, or illustrated lecture about the places visited by or experiences of a traveller.". Don't really see what that has to do with this deal.
Eh? Eh?? I can't remember back to a comment I made in September lol
We've go a hypnos mattress and base extra firm and can definitely say the best bed I've ever owned so comfy and no creaks or squeaks really good quality buy one you won't regret it (y)
From £360.....should say single starts from £360 in title as has a picture of a double bed as title photo. Not many people are after singles these days.
Thanks for taking the time to post, much appreciated :)
Would book with them if they offered any cashback TCB or Quidco. But going Holiday Inn instead
just checking back in to see if the crazy bloke had commented again. #centralmaidstone
There isn't a Premier Inn in central Maidstone 'on the river' the only one is on London Road, which is definitely a hill.
That was my original post, you then said "Isn't that a Travelodge? The Premier Inn is away from the river, up the hill a bit. I've stayed in both and they were ok I've you were in the room" (by the way, it isn't 'up the hill'). I then said "No, there are several" You then said "The premier Inn web site only has one hotel in central Maidstone, actually in the town .... but I'm sure you know best" I then said "Actually there are three in the Maidstone area. I didn't mention in central Maidstone." Only YOU subsequently mentioned Central Maidstone. Boring
jasee: "The worst premier inn to my mind is the one in the centre of Maistone " God knows why you are bothering lying about this! :)
you can still get prices in the forties if you stay Sunday night in London. Best to use the main premier inn website and click on flexible dates
There may have been a Whitbread web page showing £40.50 once (was there?) but all I can see is 'from £69'. Soyes, maybe time to expire.
Plenty at time of posting. Still useful or shall I expire?
Headline price is clicbait, nothing below £60ish and most dates a lot more
no £40 left any friday that i can find !
Are you the mayor of Watford or the Watford tourist promotion council department
is that closer as i be using public transport, is it better to stay day before and go to harry land on check out or go harry land and stay
They were £118 for the tickets and £32 for the Watford central
Watford central or Watford north
Good find, best rates for a Sunday.
Anyone been to Goole...? oO Think it looks onto a truck stop
Hardly countryside haha!
Thanks. Good offer better than a hostel
Thanks OP for this. Just booked up Beckton next March for gig at the O2. Not much longer journey than City Airport where we usually stay.
Don't think I will ever match the £7 a night I paid for a Travelodge in 2015, thanks to this website
You might be confusing Leeds with Liverpool !! :|
I'm in Leeds for two days now, and feel safe and sound is that because I live in london?
Finally got a reply from the hotel, they have pick up/drop off limited to 15 minutes.
any one know if you can park nearby if i want to stay there for 3 days
That explains it, thanks. I'm going in a few weeks so will try to find out. I know it can be dodgy to drop of around there with heathrow camera enforcement. I've sent them an email, and I may try and ring the hotel directly when they open next week.
Looks like they've amended the description on their website as it stated both no parking or drop off previously.
Where does it say there is no drop off? Website gives directions to hotel by car, so that would be pointless if you can't park or drop off? There may be a drop off point behind the double yellow lines if this diagram is correct?
Expired... hotel is fully booked
I'm going to Dusseldorf next month, it's a short walk from airport to markets and centre
I'd go just so I could try that amazing sauna place again !
If anyone wants to visit Frankfurt in January (I know the markets have finished by then!) you can get this deal super cheap. Loads of £9.99 seats and a Friday to Monday (3 night) stay only costs 124 Euros! Super cheap getaway!
Make that 12 saunas !! http://www.taunus-therme.de/en/
Prices just before Christmas aren't crazy bad in central London. I'm seeing about £60-£80 per night
See above , I take it your not the one who wrote the article in the Mirror ....
Personally I prefer Airbnb these days.
Can't see any London deals personally
yes, just book a family room. to be honest, when you book a "twin" room with Premier inn you tend to get a family room too.
My favourite outer London one is Croydon Central. It's right next to the station, so you're at Victoria in 15 mins. I'd tried most of the others (Kew, Hammersmith, Kenton, Watford, Docklands etc) but this is by far the best I've found and it's usually sub £40 when I book. Just booked 2 nights there again for £62 in late November.
many people will buy a travelcard or use oyster and reach cap anyway while in london so this will make little or no difference to that. railcards (except two together) give 1/3 off off peak fares + two together holders can buy all day off peak zone 1-6 travelcard at 1/3 off
For anyone considering Uxbridge, you may want to factor in these fares, based on a single journey to Piccadilly Circus: Oyster Contactless Peak : £5.10 Monday to Friday from 0630 to 0930. Off Peak: £3.10 At all other times including public holidays. Cash £6.00 At any time.
Mid-week @ Gatwick airport £72.00 NO DEAL here
Glad someone else got a deal ! Luton airport £45! Closest hotel to the terminal! ...great for lucky peeps like me who live abroad and book flights well in advance with stop over in luton!! 8)
Well, I've found one in Newcastle for £37 for a Friday night so that will do me Thanks op
I think it's down to people looking at the site, selecting various locations and not finding a single room for £35. Instead of commenting that the deal is a load of b0ll0cks, they just down vote. Which is exactly what I just done. Apart from down voting.
Not sure why people voting this cold? I book a few stays with premier inn every year, £35 a night is a good deal.
117 for Leeds. No thanks
