I'd have told them to 'do one' cheeky beggars.Morrisons gonna be ringing up next asking for 'their' carrier bags back or Heinz asking for their baked bean tins?
Not unless you'd signed an agreement stating that Heinz owns the tin - you know, like you do with a gas bottle...

londongases.co.uk gives 19kg for £51 if you have a canister - out of stock since yesterday but due back soon.

I’m sure the average person is not gonna want a 19 kg canister for bbq
Be careful with Flo Gas. I got a 19kg one years ago off here, around 2 years ago the company rang me up and wanted the bottle back even tho I was still using it 🙈

Calor seem to finally be sorting their supply issues... I've managed to get a couple of 4.5kg butanes (via London Gases) for the the caravan this week that have been out of stock everywhere for over a year.
£30 for 12kg near me, last time I bought one in 2009 it was £17, they have shot up in price. (edited)
No issues with stock here in Northern Ireland and easily sourced for less than this price. I paid £32 for a refill a few weeks back - checked there now and its now £30.75 - may be even cheaper at other suppliers.
£53.99 for 13kg calor refill? Less barbecuing this year 😬
Last summer I refilled 2x 11Kg Flo-gas butane cylinders at their depot on the A52 between Mablethorpe and Skegness - cost around £45 total. If it's going to be that much each now then I can see myself cutting back even further.
19kg of propane for my static was 38 last year this year it is 40 i got 1 2 days ago

So they are actually charging you to take their old 15kg bottle back ?
Just to add to the "prices have shot up" stories, my last purchase in 2017 was £39 for 2 x 13kg butane as a new FloGas customer (ie that included the hire price).
Those B&M process are a bit weird... 13kg butane normally cheaper than 11kg propane.
Is there normally much difference to find from shopping around?
Just bought a gas bbq, need some gas for it now, to be told I have to pay for the bottle and then the gas lol.

Big bottles are always cheaper per kg.

Watch out everybody.
£4/kg Vs £2.68/kg is quite a massive difference.
