great for plant pots just drill holes in bottom. I use them to grow potatoes and carrots (edited)

That's all it's good for as the handle broke off after using the bucket for the first time.

Terrible buckets these honestly, mine broke only half filled with water

I read it as prolapsed whoops I need to go to bed
    shamedbear3's avatar
That's better than reading it as proplus as you won't be needing that bed with a bucket load of that

You wouldent want to use these green buckets to carry water through the house for instance , they are rubbish. B&Q orange buckets are far far better (though not bullet proof.)

Shouldn't this deal be renamed 'Bargain Bucket'?

Two black heavy-duty buckets (£6) and one green bucket (£1) ordered.

TCB 2.55% and £2 off on the TCB offer.

    Excellent.

Meguiars makes some solid massive buckets that take 10 litres or so and don't break under the weight. You do pay for them tho

Good price. I picked up 2 x 14L for £1.20 each at Wickes for some plastering work and thought that was a bargain. Looks like everyone in my family's gonna get one of these for Christmas.

When I saw the term essentials sponge, I must admit I initally thought benefits scrounger.

It's sad how the British media has conditioned me to think like that.

Bloody hell, I’ve just ordered a bucket for a quid including delivery! I don’t even need one!

Expect it to turn up bent in half after someone squashed it into a cardboard box half the size. Still, for £1 you can’t go wrong.

Rubbish bucket my handle broke off in a couple of weeks - more plastic waste

Yipee, when it stops raining I can start my new business cleaning windscreens at the traffic lights.
  21. robmiller667's avatar
Like others, the one we had suffered a broken handle fairly quickly but still works fine. A quid is about the right price!

    Bucketing it down here
49895549-EIPAX.jpgthat is a poundland one for comparison amazingly lasted me about four years

A industrial quality stainless steel bucket is only £20-30 quidish and will save you loads , monday to friday cleaning the patio and drains , weekend cheese and beer making .

I remember someone saying the most important thing when shipwrecked on a desert island for survival is a bucket - better buy a few just in case
