I'm returning my order to LEGO,

Cashback tracked a couple of days ago, and later got associated with a £2.50 General Retail bonus from 30th October that included 40 different retailers that I'd forgotten about instead of the £50 LEGO specific bonus.

Their rep at socialsupport@quidco.com said they can't change the bonus over and said "Sorry I will not be giving an assurance that this bonus could be awarded in full but I as said originally if you come back we are more than happy to access this for you and see what we could do", which in Quidco language means 'here is some false hope to keep the order open so that we get the money from LEGO, which we have no intention of passing on to you '.

They said that qualifying purchases are automatically associated to the first open bonus, which is incredibly anti-consumer, as the £50 LEGO bonus' expiration date was before the £2.50 General Retail bonus (which would leave the user more time to avail the bonus with the later expiry), and was of a much lower amount (Quidco always do their best to payout the least amount possible to you).

TopCashBack only from here on out.

That's a disgrace, you can clearly see the dates of order and where it associate, no reason to not sort it.
Also we were told by Quidco Reps it associates to the last click, and this did happen for my Argos order, for 3 days it was fine then moved from the £25 one to the £20 one automatically for no reason. (edited)

I've found them all to be a bit dodgy if you put any code in so I've not chanced it, as I've had them fall through in the past and this would be by far the best cashback I've ever had on lego, so not worth the risk.

Back to Lego my order goes. Cashbask was declined! Outrageous!
    --------------
We are writing to you about your cashback claim.

On this occasion, the retailer has declined your cashback claim stating that Quidco has not been recognised as the referrer for this purchase. This could happen if you used a search engine, comparison site or voucher code site or if you had multiple browser tabs open when purchasing.

We appreciate this is very frustrating, but we value you as a Quidco member and would like to give you something to make up for it. We have provided a unique Bonus just for you!

Earn a £2.50 Bonus on your next purchase through Quidco: Opt-in to your bonus through the link below and make a qualifying purchase before 28th February 2023.

I *think* mine has tracked correctly but the bonus still thinks I need to make a purchase. There doesn't appear to be any 'connection' between them.

The connection is right there- in associated retailer and purchase date it lists it as LEGO on the 25th. If it hadn’t tracked and associated, it’d have shown as pending

My cashback never tracked despite spending £121 and I had to open a claim with quidco.

Just received an email today saying my cashback has been rejected as it was never tracked.

I've been using Quidco for 13 years and I have never had a problem with tracking, I always clear my cookies, use a new browser window, never use vouchers and buy directly through the quidco link.

What a con. It's a shame because Quidco actually used be good but like most companies as they get bigger they lose their ethics. Bitter pill but will learn from it. Shame on Lego too.

Update: A different bonus with lower value which was tracked, was paid yesterday. I requested quidco to match the bonus with 50GBP and they did instantly. So if you have some other bonus tracked, please email them and they will match.

A word to anyone doing this - don't get fancy with codes or gift cards or vip - just pay and gtfo. Quidco are good at paying out, but they'll stick to their terms & conditions.

And make sure it's OVER £100 BEFORE THE VAT - e.g. Optimus at £127 would be spot on (I know it's £20 cheaper at Argos, but you're still £30 up, plus VIP points)

EDIT: You'll get the 7% cashback too, so that's £37ish up! (edited)

should be fine as it auto adds to the basket and is another line and not a code you use to get something, in theory that is

Last year I went for 3 of these boosts and they took a while. 2 small Argos ones paid out within 3 months I think but due to processing issues for these boosts a £20 Toolstation one from around New Year took until August to be released. There were some Quidco ones based on transaction volumes and they paid out much quicker but weren’t tied to a specific retailer.

Should be worth it in end but don’t hold your breath waiting on the cash coming through. (edited)

Not tracked for me either. Looking through my previous Quidco claims that I had to start manually in the past, LEGO is there, even though I follow exactly the same procedure for LEGO as every other store which track fine (and they didn't accept my claim which was perfectly valid). It seems Quidco know this, which is why they are willing to give such a large cashback amount as they don't have to pay out to anyone and keep the money themselves!

Will be returning the item to LEGO if this doesn't track automatically, as manual claims are almost guaranteed to be rejected (edited)

    Hi,
Has anyone seen the tracked Lego cashback? I got the opt-in, but Lego is still not tracked.
I always clear the cookies, my basket is not preloaded, I never use the backward option on the website, never open a new tab, and still the only retailer in which I got the problem is Lego, and if I raised a claim always has been declined.
I'm still hoping, but the 72-hour is gone now. 😬

Mine took until the day after the dispatch email to track and even now it's not associated to the bonus yet. It's getting there slowly!

I didn't get an email from Quidco to say it had tracked, only shows online.

My order has been despatched today at 4pm but nothing has tracked on Quidco. Shows as opted in for Lego £50 under "Bonus cashback" but nothing under "tracked". When I go to raise a claim there is a Lego option for that morning I placed the order (Friday 25th at 7am), so hopefully still able to process claim once 5 days is up 🤷‍♂️. Anyone know how long the claim process takes? Without the bonus I'll be returning the order

Mine was dispatched 11:16 yesterday morning and kept checking all day and no tracking. Double checked just now and it’s come in overnight at some time - hope yours does too. It was inserted down my list after newer cashback despite just coming in.

Bonus now shows Lego as retailer and date of 25th and is £50 + £16.69 so was key to me keeping. (edited)

Similar to others my cashback didn’t track. Cleared cookies etc before ordering, no voucher codes used. Yet Quidco offers with Argos and Boots all tracked fine. Had valid Lego claims declined twice in the past with Quidco. I’ll be returning my order rather than doing a manual claim.

Mine just paid out too - that’s me at £122.50 just from these bonuses now with another £35 still tracking.

These get a lot of hate from some people but they’ve been my biggest savings over Black Friday and Xmas spend overall.

Only one didn’t track for underlying transaction but when I raised claim they automatically linked in the bonus despite forgetting to mention in claim.

Thanks for the update, at least now I know I'm not the only person who had their payout delayed.

For many months mine also said estimated payment is 2nd March, but after that date was missed it just changed to "Sorry there is a delay", and 6 days later it's still the same.

The previous replied and said the Lego payout comes in waves, so when is the next wave of payout? We all made the Lego purchase on the same Black Friday offer day (in my case everything tracked and associated correctly) so still don't know why the long extra delay?

Yup exactly same here, all tracked except Lego with that weird thing of only tracking on dispatch which took 5 days so it was a mess.
Its so clearly a problem with Lego for lots of people who didn't do anything wrong in regards to clicking through or having other browsers open etc that's just a poor excuse. I really hope you will honour the deal yourselfs Quidco.
