i recently bought an Honor tablet that has a Helio G88; how do people who use phones with similar specs not get frustrated? it’s not slow, but I wouldn’t be able to use it for anything other than ebooks…Utter garbage. In phones, these chips have excellent performance. This smacks of classic negative PR from those with an interest in boosting the competition- Snapdragon.
Anyone know the compatible sound codecs? I found a source that says ldac and aptx but the price seems low for that and I found another site that states only SBC. (edited)
I believe aptx is now encoded at the software level on modern Android phones. I'm not sure about LDAC but as it's a must more ubiquitous format I'd be surprised if it's not available.
