Does this work well in diesel cars?

I think it works for older diesel engines. If you've got common rail direct injection forget it. It's made absolutely no difference for me and I used it loads of times. Given up. I just fill it up with premium every now and then. For petrol it's always premium for me as it actually returns higher mpg paying for itself.

These are good for older cars doing long distance journeys, you won't get the full effect driving around town.

5th Gear did a test on these and they were amazed. The episode is on YouTube, Jason Plato (Google him) was gobsmacked.

Does help clean out fuel systems, but will only work once in several thousand miles. Don't believe the snake oil, tin hat brigade, this has proven effects.
Used to be able to pick this up for a quid on deals not so long ago

I did read that this can cause issues by moving stubborn built up dirt on older cars through the injectors and engine. Not sure how true tho.
