For these now budget machines, I would go for the later processors i5-10210U / i5-10310U both released 2020. The one listed is 2018. Only a few quid difference

My wife bought one of these last week from these guys and is very happy with it. It was in very good condition and It came with the internal and external batteries as well as lit keyboard and finger print scanner which, I believe, were options when new (although I could be wrong about that)

I never deal with sellers quoting RRP. This shows me that the sellers are dishonest from the start. "I'm not breaking the rule, I'm just bending it."

Mine arrived today. It looks almost unused and the battery life seems decent. I'm very happy with it.

Has anybody else had battery issues with their T480? Once I have shutdown the machine I come back and the battery is empty. USB off, fast boot off. Still get the problem. Just one external battery in mine.

I have had a similar problem with mine. The main battery literally drained overnight while the laptop was in sleep mode. When it arrived, which was the 5th of May, I powered it on expecting it to have charge in it and it got as far as the Lenovo splash screen then turned off. I did notice that mine still has one month of Lenovo warranty left on it so I've queried the warranty on the batteries in the laptop. The internal battery may be covered but not sure about the main external one. I think I might need to invest in a new one as it looks like the batteries can't hold much charge now.
