About this deal

On clearance.

Our log cabins include many features which you'll struggle to find anywhere else! From a tall walkthrough height of 6'2" and high internal eaves to wide opening French doors. If that's not enough, we also include an industry-leading 4-point locking system and additional shootbolt locking.

Let's not forget the pressure treated floor bearers with a 10-year guarantee. Or, the thick 19mm roof and floorboards which are included as standard. Not an optional extra like some competitors. Did we mention the 4mm toughened glass yet? We don't use styrene, Perspex or weak 3mm horticultural glass.

    I’m on my 7th year working from home in this, have a oil radiator, installation roof and floor, I also keep my condenser tumble dryer in here with a dehumidifier and one cycle of that warms it up nicely. (edited)

    Kids setting up in their parents gardens is a thing sadly. I think Ireland was the trendsetter.

    I have a 44mm thick walled cabin and it still gets mighty fresh in the winter months.
    That's with insulation both under the floor and in the roof.

    Hi. Do you use a heater and if so, what type? How long does it take to reach decent temp in winter? Thanks.

    Logs = 0

    It's a large shed or summerhouse (edited)

    Sounds reasonable till you price up the slab/paving you would have to put it on.

    Does anyone with a log cabin know how much it actually costs to heat theirs?

    I'm just about to buy two cabins for the garden, I will be insulating the roof and floor and may put some on the sides but I'm worried how much it's going to cost me to keep them above, say 9C year round (dew point), as I will have some things in there that could get damaged if it gets too cold.

    Considering a diesel heater outside the cabin in its own box, but still curious what it's likely to cost me

    TIA
