Update 1
3x Value Extended Until 15/06
From this Friday 16th June, when you exchange your Clubcard vouchers for a Reward Partner code, they will be worth up to 2x as much, not up to 3x the value, as they are now.

In light of this news we have created this thread, highlighting some of the best offers available on the scheme and how to make the most of the current 3x value. This includes money off days out, restaurants and general entertainment that may be helpful in keeping the kids entertained and fed during the Easter Holidays.

For most reward partners listed, 50p in Clubcard Vouchers will equate to £1.50 to spend against the chosen activity.

If not wanting to use them straight away, they are also extending the validity period on Tesco Clubcard Reward Partner codes ordered from 17 March until 13 June so that they’re valid for 1 year, rather than the usual 6 months.

For each the offers listed below, there is a short guide on how to redeem your current vouchers against them which you may find useful.

Hi We now allow mega threads in deals. These are round ups of deals combined in one post which some users may find helpful. You can read more about it here.
    JasonVoorhees's avatar
I thought mega threads were supposed to include actual deals though? You know where you actually save money... This is a heads up post, not a deal.

Agree with many of the comments here regarding Tesco no longer being good value, and I'm in the process of spending my Clubcard points to shop at Asda in the future.

I had over £180 of Clubcard points, but have just exchanged them to spend online at Denby - we needed new pots, pans and bakeware and they have a sale on too... I used £81.50 worth of vouchers to get £243 to spend on their site - just had to pay £4.95 postage (see below)...

Tesco clubcard was previously worth 4 * value and now it's reducing from 3* value to 2*.

If you shop at Tesco you're paying more to shop there than Aldi but you get your clubcard points. Tesco is no longer value.
    Chris19's avatar
I agree. To be competitive Tesco need to get their act together

    Surely this belongs in discussions?

Define "best" alton towers/merlin is 2 for 1 constantly, pizza express is often 2 for 1 with a pack of doughballs or 40% off with meerkat meals, cine world is 2 for 1 through a whole host of offers.

I think the best clubcard offers are currently eurocamp as this stacks with all offers including loyalty bonus and railcard which again stacks with offers

hotels.com and airport parking offer good value for money aswell.
    GEOFFQ's avatar
Are these Hotel.com vouchers valid for 6 months? is the date then to use by or does the stay have to be completed by that date?
    Thanks
  7. alexf's avatar
If you're eligible, worth getting a Railcard with your Clubcard points. Free discounted train travel!
  8. WillPS's avatar
These theme park redemptions are all balls.

At the theme parks in particular you are getting significantly less value because the vouchers you triple (double from June) up for are only redeemable against the gate price. The gate price is set ridiculously high because BOGOF/Half Price offers are everywhere.

Pizza Express used to be similar but is actually decent value now since they rarely do 2 for 1s nowadays.

Hotels.com is also my most common redemption.
    RedmanDealer's avatar
Not true in the case of the Merlin parks, when you buy tesco vouchers you get taken to a special portal for the park which gives you the reward against the online saver price. There are some days that get excluded like bank holiday weekends but no biggie. Some of the other parks and zoos dont let you buy online but I think that's a bad reflection on them rather than Tesco. Agree that when it goes down to 2x it won't be worth as much on Merlin.

Just used a ton of vouchers for the Eurotunnel, can't get that discount elsewhere.
  9. Daniel.Hebberd's avatar
Also they’re changing the fuel from £1 = 1 point to 1 point for every 2 litres of fuel
    Mooney_70's avatar
Yep, hardly worth filling up there which I rarely do these days. Remember the days of double and triple points on fuel. And those 5p and 10p off coupons they used to do for fuel. Getting 50p off a litre was a real bonus!
  10. doesitmatter's avatar
Just converted clubcard points worth £40 to £120 pizza express vouchers. Can use for one year.
    htslough's avatar
Don't you have to use them all in one go?
So no change for £120 at pizza express.
You need to convert in to chunks of what you'll actually be spending in one transaction, as you can't use multiple converted amounts either in one payment.
  11. vishy01234's avatar
tbh I shop anywhere these days, so something is better than nothing … let’s face it, all the supermarkets are now screwing customers, profiteering plus passing on all extra supply chain costs to us suckers
  12. ashraf86uk's avatar
I like the cineworld one which you can also stack against meerkats
  13. ta10003's avatar
The timeline for 3x value has been extended by 48hrs. You now have until Thursday 15 June 23:59 to redeem at the higher value.

Tesco has bumped up the price yet lowered the reward, no longer a bargain grocery provider anymore. ClubCard Boost from 4x to 2x in just a few years is just an indication of poor management and a lack of interest in customer benefit.
    SpeedbirdB777's avatar
Last comparison I saw said they were cheapest after Aldi and Lidl on a competitive basket and that’s before clubcard/clubcard plus offers.
  15. Evilcell's avatar
Should add the railcard offers, think those are one of the better usage of the reward points
  16. barnehurst's avatar
Tesco trying to lose customers in their greed to make more profit
    Mooney_70's avatar
They are doing a pretty good of it as well. 😁
  17. sussexroyal's avatar
This isn't a 'round up of best' deals, it's just a lazy pointless list.
  18. sm9690's avatar
    Where is the deal?
  19. philnewton's avatar
Use mine and other halves points at hotels.com.

They're also changing clubcard points earned on fuel from 1 point per £2.00 spent to 1 point per 2 litres. (edited)
  20. sallan02's avatar
Still better than the woeful nectar card
    Mooney_70's avatar
Personally, I find the nectar card a better option these days. Cheaper prices on some of the things you buy with the smart shop app. Extra nectar points for some products and till spit vouchers for money off or extra points. Using the points to spend on eBay is a great way to save money. It definitely works for me does the nectar card/app. Also extra point offers on fuel at Esso which I sometimes make use of as well. I was a big fan of the clubcard but that was years ago when it was worth having.
  21. Debra_Leyland's avatar
The Railcard is a good shout at 3x we get the two together for £10 voucher so worth it on even one train trip
  22. reubenno's avatar
Ah Tesco, offering prices similar to Aldi and Lidl but only if you provide them with your shopping habits via a data-mining clubcard.
    chiggz's avatar
And what's the issue with that? You gain something. They gain something.

Why is the public so afraid of their shopping habits being analysed.
  23. Bestbitter's avatar
Just changed mine for hotel.com vouchers. Used them in the past in USA, never had a problem. Good for airport hotels, as well.
All valid for a year, now.
Very annoythat they can no longer be exchanged for delivery saver vouchers!!
    iNSain's avatar
Do you know if you buy the vouchers for hotels.com, can you pay the difference on top if your vouchers that you have exchanged are less than the cost of a room?
  24. sashleyy's avatar
Don't think there will be much use at 2x. From experience you lose value anyway as a lot of places don't let you pre book and make you pay on the day prices. Used mine at Blackpool Zoo last year where this was the case.
  25. DayDreamer121's avatar
Thanks for sharing. Sadly heard Tesco will stop 3x points payout but I think it’s still bit more then others. 🏼 (edited)
  26. goody's avatar
Gone are the days of my tesco points collection i was getting £400 worth of points in each period that was the maximum and i bought 2 longines watches and a tag hauer from goldsmiths

Tesco has gone greedy now...we used to get 1000 for pre ordering a game for a fiver ..i would preorder 5 in each store it was so easy then ...those were the days
  27. Hillsman's avatar
Remember when it was 4x ?
  28. GodVilla's avatar
This isn't a deal. Voted cold.
  29. Rbaj's avatar
Those were the days 4 * the points value. We used to pay our dry cleaning cost at Johnson’s with Tesco vouchers. I have paid for Hotel.com, Airport Parking and Pizza Express.
I agree with rest, not a good value any more, just do emergency shop at Tesco now.
Aldi for fruits and Veg, Home Bargains for toiletries etc and Farmfoods for frozen food, coffee and cereals etc. Get £2 off for £25 shop at Farmfoods every time.

    BTTF Musical is amazing
  31. highlander1066's avatar
There are very few deals that really are worth 2 or 3X the clubcard price. For example , Pizza Express always have offers on and with Hotels.com you don't get the 10% cashback or extra cashback booking via Quidco etc. So really - once it drops to 2X the value , its probably really 1.5X or less in real terms. Probably just makes sense to use them in Tesco.
  32. ibblackberry1's avatar
Tesco also putting the minimum delivery to £50 is a right pain. Becoming much less attractive as a main shopping option.
    tanikk£'s avatar
Not a problem for us as each delivery is close to a £100. Disappearing products is a bigger problem, more and more favourites become out of stock recently. Basic stuff like bananas in bags, cheaper eggs, veggies.
  33. MonkeyMan90's avatar
This is a discussion post it doesn't contain a deal

Back to the Future The Musical....Why????
    The_Kurgan's avatar
They make musicals out of a fart these days, but at least it's a fantastic film, so why not? Anyway, I'm seeing it next week so I'll let you know.
  37. blue-note's avatar
The Gould barbers at 3x value is worth a shout. In quite a few Extra stores and some of the larger Superstores with the F&F section, it's basically a hair cut for £5.50 which is good value.
  38. FlatulentFox's avatar
Sales that aren't sales unless you have a Clubcard..
  39. trickyrick's avatar
Can get a really decent cheap holiday with 3x points to Eurocamp. Lots of great resorts in France/Italy that you can get to for cheap via Ryanair.
    mjones4248's avatar
    Can you possibly recommend any?
  40. curly1's avatar
    1) Tesco are also changing their minimum basket price from £40 to £50, or (I think) you pay an additional charge.

    2) I've just spent all my Clubcard points on the Denby store online. you have to do that via the link on the Clubcard site.
