Climate in Iran in November is good, never goes too far above 20ºC

Teheran is a cool historical city, but you have to be aware of the risks faced by tourists and how to avoid them.

Potential disputes with the security services can still be avoided. This means in particular:

- to scrupulously comply with Iranian regulations and local customs, particularly with regard to clothing and attitudes to adopt in public spaces
- to stay away from all gatherings (especially demonstrations); refrain from taking photographs in public spaces, especially in the city
- not to have in his possession a drone and, a fortiori, to capture images with it, anywhere on Iranian territory (that is to say even in wild, totally uninhabited regions )
- to express publicly, on social networks, or even during oral conversations, any position that could be interpreted as a criticism against the regime and its foundations (in particular the obligation to wear the veil for women), as a attempt at cultural interference or as interference in Iranian internal affairs.

Doesn't seem like a great idea to go to Iran these days.

Oh wow! This is an amazing deal. Tehran is a brilliant place to visit. I've been lucky enough to go with work back in the days when the political situation wasn't as difficult as now. Some lovely people there made me feel very welcome. There is so much to see in Iran. I'm saddened by the fact that I'll probably never get to see it again.

    Iran travel advice GOV.UK
"The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises British nationals against all travel to Iran.British and British-Iranian dual nationals are at significant risk of arbitrary arrest, questioning or detention in Iran. Holding a British passport can be reason enough for the Iranian authorities to target you. If you are detained in Iran, you could face months or years in prison"

In other words, it'll be your own fault if anything goes wrong.

Calling it a ‘round trip’ is optimistic.
