22 hours each way in economy on a China Southern aircraft...

    That'll be fun.

I used this Airlines to go to Melbourne just before covid. It was fine. No issues.

Go for two weeks, from the same date = £80 extra, three weeks = £50. (edited)

Think you can also 'enjoy' up to 144 hours in China visa-free if on a layover

I visit China for business fairly often (a couple of weeks every quarter) and it's fine lol, China isn't North Korea or Russia or Iran (edited)

Two or three weeks isn't really enough, you'll lose quite a bit of time just travelling around the country. Personally I'd recommend one month in a campervan, you'll be blown away by the scenery alone.

Glorious country, would move there in a heartbeat if i could. Went nearly 20 years ago and cost me nearly £1000 then, so this is a great price! Seize the opportunity if u can!

Nice price. Looking at over £1k in March

October>November not the best for holidaying weather but fine for visiting the family.

It's almost as if they reduce the price during less desirable dates

People don't really spend 60+ hours travelling for a 7 day trip, do they?

Perfect timing to take my son to meet my brother in NZ for the first time. Usually prices inflate for half terms.
I've used travelup previously to get to NZ (£450 return in 2014) are they still reliable? (edited)

Is that a return in a week?

truly an amazing country to visit.....not convinced on the stop over in China though, but if the price matches your budget then fill your boots.....

Man, the price I have been looking for. I will avoid Uncle Sam connections. Should one buy with a credit card in case of issues? I have been told it is best to buy direct from the airline. (edited)
