Similar price (£388) available with Norse but Direct flights. BA or Virgin are also available with direct flights for around £450.

Personally I'd pay the little extra to avoid TAP and LIS airport. Whilst I would recommend TAP for business class flights where it offers a significant saving (can be 50% or more sometimes). Be prepared for delays and general disorganisation, think last minute gate/plane changes, waiting on crew for the flight, buses from gate to planes.

For the small saving I don't think the hassle and risk (missed connection could lead to losing a days holiday) are worth it. Plus if something goes wrong you really don't want to be dealing with TAP customer service.
