Only have carpet on stairs & landing. Is it feasible to use this to clean whole carpet? Thanks

We hired a rug doctor machine from the kiosk in our local Tesco last week. Was£30 for 24 hours and I got Astonish Vac Maxx carpet cleaning liquid from Home Bargains for £1.99 which did 3 bedrooms & the hall and stairs in case that helps you! Hubby went over each carpet a couple of times to get as much water out as possible and they carpets were almost dry straight away. Would recommend hiring one! We don't have the storage space to buy one!

I have this and use it on my sofa, rugs, dining chairs and stairs. It’s a great piece of kit and with kids and dogs it’s used regularly. I got this shampoo which works really well Link

I had the same question this time last year. After doing extensive research I purchased the Bissell Pro. Fantastic bit of kit and glad I went with it over the rug doctor. The quality of the Bissell is excellent. I can't speak for the quality of the rug doctor but a lot of reviews I checked had gripes about the hose that attaches to the suction part as being flimsy. Plus I think I'm correct in saying the Bissell has the more powerful suction out of all of the portable wet vacs in this category.
