A decent pro with have had Years of up to date training and hand on experience There’s actually more to it than spraying down some chemicals and sucking it up Hence why the average cost to clean a room is upwards of £50+ for a pro It’s not just about having expensive kit it will be useless & can only take you so far if your untrained & have no idea which chemicals to use. identification of fabric and fibre types and chemistry needed to achieve perfect results every time to identify any type of stain and know exactly which solution would remove it first time A good pro can clean without going into google or YouTube & guess a mix a cocktail of under the cupboard stuff Wool carpet too is a different thing too can be easily damaged & over wet without the knowledge Powerful vacuum motors to dry the carpet as your cleaning it Knowing how to lift the pile back up heat is a factor too and some carpet fibres cannot be cleaned at all.. Agitation of the solutions prior to cleaning. The list is endless to achieve perfection With any upholstery fabric including velvet. You asked..
Thats why its a great deal. I certainly got my moneys worth out of it so far. Genuinely interested in what makes a professional cleaner rather than a person with expensive kit?
You get what you pay for as they say...
You are bitter lol What training do you need to be certified in carpet and upholstery cleaning? Its not practical to pay for a 'professional' trades person to clean every spilt drink or animal accident. So I think this will do well for most needs.
Its worked wonders for mine. Also leaves it bone dry if you use it properly. I would highly recommend for someone with kids or animals. Let me guess you do professional cleaning? ;) Does the job on the tin for me.

Great deal OP. We bought one of these a few weeks ago after getting a puppy and it’s become an absolute godsend! Would love for it to be battery powered, but it’s still really handy and the stain removal tool has a separate little catch can so you don’t have to get urine etc in the main waste water tank.
this looks like good value vs the costco Spotclean "Proheat" that was being sold for 96quid (incl VAT) a few weeks ago. heat added.
It would be very helpful for the community, to hear about any malfunctions or issues members have had with these units - and how you 'righted' them. There seems to be a reoccurring problem highlighted - of the tube splitting or the plastic of the head snapping, just out of warranty (or after only a few uses). Bissell tell people these tubes/repairs are 'not user serviceable'. If it were sporadic complaints - i'd assume its just the odd unit. However - with the frequency of complaints about these 'specific malfunctions' i'm beginning to wonder if it's planned obsolescence. What went wrong with your unit? How did you remedy the situation?
Different machine. The pro is the same price.

Same price on amazon with 5 months interest free payments, if you have prime...
just ordered one, have been waiting since they last sold out. Heat - thanks!
Back in stock everyone!
Well mine arrived and its a great bit of kit, there are none left now anyway so you can relax, unfortunately this is the way of the world now, the new know it all useless generation, it's like companies blaming Covid after a year for their pathetic management and service, I refuse to deal with any company that comes up with that stupid excuse!
Considering the hassle I've had trying to order from their site, then calling twice and being put through to voicemail... then not hearing back. If that's how they deal with sales, I definitely dont want to see how they deal with support calls. I don't think I want to order from them anymore.

Instore, can’t see it online, it was a heat spot cleaner, bissell.
Was that online or in-store??
Spot clean pro is also on offer on Costco for anyone with a membership. I think it was £90 yesterday
I'd go for the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution currently £179.10 deal posted here https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bissel-proheat-2x-revolution-3685695 have one myself and found it to be brilliant at cleaning my carpets easy to use and much better than the VAX it replaces, you also get a handy stair tool with pipe for cleaning stair/furniture. The bissell also comes with a 6 year guarantee, this rug doctor only comes with 1 year and isn't worth the cost.
Probably many people cleaning all the carpets in the house, then sending them back with a complaint.because they realise its a just a once a year job.
You can get these from BnQ for £20 for the weekend
Thanks a lot @lazyfish
Thanks for posting and a very belated welcome to hotukdeals @lazyfish Don't make us wait another 8 years until your next post (y)
Anyone able to recommend cleaning solution to use with it?
Thanks. Had a new fabric sofa arrive today and with two kids I’m not taking any chances. Got for £116 so a great price. (y) 🏻
I used it the day it arrived and I'm impressed. My toddler has made a real mess of one of our fabric dining chairs. Pretty much every food stain you can think. It looks new again! Really should have taken before & after photos.
I just spotted it now on the website so quickly got it ordered. I missed it last time too. (highfive)
Much appreciated, I missed it too, I ordered now. Mother day gift (y)
