Been this price for a month or so at lots of retailers
All Carpet Cleaner Discounts, Offers and Sale - June 2020
Yeah, got an email today saying will be here Thursday. Thanks.
I got mine dispatched today for delivery tomorrow.
Anyone been given a date for delivery yet?
I have the StainPro 4. Used to clean a rental flat and did a great job. Used Vax Liquid, Bissell liquid and ProKleen from Amazon. .https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Kleen-Shampoo-Upholstery-Cleaning-Solution/dp/B07Q1CDY3D/ref=olp_product_details/261-9707807-6485929?ie=UTF8&me=&th=1 All of them worked the same but the Prokleen was much, much cheaper.....£16 odd for five ltrs which is roughly wht 1.5 ltrs of the Bissell/Vax stuff costs.
This or rug doctor deep clean carpet cleaner? Do both use heat while cleaning carpets?
been waiting for a decent drop in the price, cracking deal and a bloody brilliant machine, nice one ! (y)
Just an update. Ordered one and I am amazed at the results. Gets a bit addictive - just how clean can I get these carpets!
So, you didn't get any response the first time you said it so you said it again a few days later. That's just sad 😥
Toys compared to pro machines
Thanks for the info Steve and good luck with the sale.
This sells in America under hoover powerdash pet carpet cleaner. Apparently it give some serious results. I'd assume it's due to the rotating brush and good amount of bristles on it. This guy would place it in no 2 position out of the best ones out there. That a top Notch position given its compact size and price.
No change there then! ;(
Hhhhmmmm. That's a shame. Thanks for confirming.
No, unfortunately not
Probably because the 'boy wonder' Nick Grey left them?
Thanks for this - snapped it up this morning. Has been £10 cheaper at other retailers but happy to pay the premium for the Lakeland guarantee.
Can we try this on our PM and his cabinet?
Sorry, we can’t take any more orders right now – please check back tomorrow.
That looks like R2D2 (lol)
Between this and numatic George what would you choose for a little car detailing hobby? Thanks
No, that's beyond help.
Got this last time it was on offer, I've also cleaned whole rooms with it, yes, it's not as quick as an upright but results are fab.
No, this just has a hand tool on a length of hose - not the full works of the much larger, more expensive, rental model. Spot stains and small areas (eg stair treads, car interiors) only. Quite honestly, a really good wet vac will do the job when combined with a steam cleaner. Tape the two tools together and off you go.
Works fine doing that I cleaned mine using it too. :)
1 pound the pound shops.
I use this in my carpet cleaner in lieu of the expensive stuff. Seems to do a decent job! Doesn't smell as nice as the proper carpet cleaner shampoo though.
This is 99p in B&M. Bought some on Saturday to clean my car seats
Sold out now unfortunately.
just watched this, good lockdown material, thanks
This guy on YouTube (The Detail Geek) raves about this machine on every video. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAQHQEO4QpI5dXtr3vLoFCg
Cheapest I've seen it! So so tempted to grab one for my valeting to get in them tight spots, already got my George wet vac but the nozzle is rather big
Received the email just (y)
Just got email confirming delivery tomorrow. Also ordered on 18th.
I gave them a call today and basically it will be dispatched in next few days. They experiencing high volume of orders now and shortage of staff because of the situation. I placed my order on the 18th this month and they processing it. So be patient guys.
Zero word on mine other than initial order confirmation email. Doesn't bode well.
Hi All, did anyone receive their carpet cleaner? Think mines on hold now
go for George , Dual feature and definitely long lasting , using from 2013 and still working fine purchased in 100£ via hukd.I have dyson vaccume as well but George is more reliable
Isn't this Charles?
Not ideal for the thicker carpets. Does the job alright on thinner non fluffy office types carpets. I’d go for an alternative but they’re a bit dearer but hoping they’d be more powerful
I have one. Bought it about a year ago for the same price. It is very labour intensive and I would honestly advise someone to buy a push type cleaner if you have a lot of carpets to clean.
Don't have either, but it looks to me like this may only come with carpet washer filter and tools, I think george comes with a dry filter and tools for dry use as well.
George would probably be better for car seats. You could probably even get away with using a wet n dry vac if you already own one, with a carpet washer nozzle (needs a narrow slot) duct-taped on the end of the hose and a spray bottle with carpet shampoo and warm water. It is not ideal, but I've used a Bissell proheat, which is a similar machine, but with an electric water heater block, to clean the interior of a car before flogging it via ebay. Did a pretty good job of getting wood dust out of the carpets and some makeup marks left by the original owner off the back seat. The suction is not fantastic though and doesn't get it dry enough. I put plastic down on the front seats and we went for a drive with the heaters and blower full on to help dry it out and hung the boot carpet over the gates. I also only have the manual brush that came with it for the hose, so it was a lot of scrubbing, if I was to do it regular I'd buy a turbo brush for the carpets (about £25). This may not be the correct version :- https://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/products/spot-cleaning-power-turbo-brush.html Also had to sit the machine on a sheet of plywood to protect the brush from the concrete and grass, as it keeps spinning when using the hose.
Are these any good for car seats? I was thinking about getting a Numatic George to allow for both carpet and car seat cleaning
These are pretty good. Similar performances I think. But more mobile and a massive head for coverage. Good piece of kit to have at home if you like to wash the carpet very few months. There are some YouTube videos comparing 6 different brands this one and the rugdoc are in the comparison.
How do these compare to the ones you hire from supermarkets?
169.99 inc P&P at Bissell's own site

ProHeat 2x, it looks to supersedes this version (by 2x brushes). Proheat 2x is hovering around £200-230 and pet version £250. Tests show brushes makes the big difference in clean performance, hence bissell double downed on the newest designs. So imo £169 is a fair price.. I'd wait for 2x personally to be on sale.
Don't know not used that particular vax, last vax I used the water leaked into the on off switch and motor, lots of popping electric tripped off and it was dead, took back to where it was bought from only to find out that model was recalled for that problem
How do these compare to Vax carpet cleaners. I’ve got a Vax Rapide Ultra 2 and although it picks up loads of dirt, I still feel like the carpets would be cleaner with a more industrial unit. Wondering if this would be an upgrade or not?
You need one with the rotating brush to really get that carpet ocd clean! No bluetooth either so not for me! ;) (cheeky)
Looks like this Vax which I actually have; https://spares.vax.co.uk/powermax-carpet-washers It's not amazing, but if it's just a freshening up it's not bad.
I could be wrong, but this aldi model appears to be the budget sort without a rotating brush to scrub the carpet, so wont be in the same league. Although, I do remember being rented a rug doctor with the brush head missing and a dried dog poo stuck inside a wheel, where we didn't discover it until the carpet got wet (zombie) Which is one of the reasons we now own our own bissel. If this is just a fixed brush model, I'd suggest a proper wet n dry vacuum cleaner with carpet shampoo mode would be more useful.
not a patch on the rug doctor, had a similar vax unit, gave it away and bought a bissel puzzie type unit
Looks like a vax unit I had, just squirt solution on the carpet then sucks it up, no agitation, just squirt and suck ;)
Looks like it's gone back up
That's what it says but when go to checkout it 4.45 delivery thanks anyway nahla got it on someone else's prime
Does this come with the cleaning fluid?
If you had made an order between 7th - 30th March then Robert Dyas data breach has been broken and your card and details could be at risk. https://www.hotukdeals.com/discussions/just-had-my-credit-card-canceled-because-of-robert-dyas-data-breach-3456865
Can always be found in Wilko and savers for this price. Sometimes £1.49 when on offer
Am sure these are 1 pound in most places
Tested on animals
cold - this is £1 in poundland
Then this deal is pointless especially with amazon subscription changes
I was able to change mine Anyone having the same issue?
Also available in Poundland. Same size. £1. Hope this helps.
With the 20% ebay code it comes down to £103 - I think I'll go for it (y) 🏻
This one is said to leave the carpet quite/very wet! Also there's a free steam cleaner with big brother but I've not seen it less than RRP. Anyone?
Worth getting? Or worth the extra for the bigger brother?
Bought it in January sales from Currys in store for £80
I'm really tempted by this, but I've seen online that it was £95 on Amazon back in October
Also £1 in the range (its instore as saw it yesterday) https://www.therange.co.uk/household/cleaning/carpet-cleaning/vanish-liquid-carpet-shampoo
I thought as much, thanks for the confirmation.
I think the packaging states it';s not suitable for 3 in 1 vacs. I use just a bit in addition to my Vac Shampoo because it foams up like some kind of foamy foam monster. Too foamy for the machine if you're just using it on its own.
There is this bloke called graham at the gym and he said it’s really useful to clean up the stains.
It as as effective as plain flour
Good price but I've never managed to use them without it killing the hoover
I'm not sure but argos cancels normally or makes you buy it again with the replacement product
Anyone know if very replacement guarantee is only a one time use? I read on their terms that if you claim they then cancle the rest of the policy. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Or were they just thrown straight in the ocean/sea .
Didn't the old plastic ones get recycled ?
This or rug doctor (ninja)
