    Description is wrong mate, no way a 3.5" drive is fitting in there

    Would the end bracket with the USB slot fit onto a 3.5 maybe? Although I'd imagine it would need power and USB wouldn't be sufficient.

    I don’t rate these much, ordered 2 previously but both turned out to be very flimsy, crack easily and troublesome getting the mqbook to recognise them. Sorry 👎🏽

    People foolish enough to own Apple gear should KNOW they cannot use anything that otherwise works fine on Windows or Linux systems without careful research. This is the fault of Apple, not anyone else.

    As for quality- sadly one gets what one pays for when it comes to items like this. Cheap will be delicate- fine if one is really careful- but a pain regardless. If your external home-made device matters, again research and pay the extra for a well made container with- just as important- a robust socket that won't fail under expected cable flex conditions.
