Amazon don't sell this exact model, they have the same card as an "exclusive", the only difference being it's a) blue with white printing b) a lot more expensive). There's another seller on Amazon, a few pennies cheaper (I posted that deal a month ago). I bought 2 off of them and had no issues whatsoever. amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1 (edited)

I bought 2 of these from this seller 4 days ago they arrived yesterday and the first one has failed in testing with h2testw - write error and then failed verification at same spot in each of the 3 tests

I'm testing the other now and will find out when I go back up stairs whether it is ok

[Edit] I was always going to try card in at least 2 card readers to rule out any issues with card reader

The first card failed in a U3 card reader [3 attempts] the second card had issues nearly straight away with this u3 card reader and then failed 1 hour in.

So I popped the 2nd TF card into full size SD adapter provided and inserted it into my Lacie 1 Big Dock card reader and the card test fine at the end of the 3-4 hours it took to test

I'm busy testing 1st card now in the hope this one passes this time.

EDIT

Both cards wrote near enough 512GB and verfied fine in another card reader.

So the cards are not fakes I never said they were though. (edited)

It might be a fake one as it failed. I bought it directly from amazon couple of months ago, and there are no issues so far.

if youre worried it is more expensive than yesterday, just be happy it is cheaper than what it may be tomorrow
