I thought I'd alert people to this after the deals from yesterday with the S23 base model and S23 Ultra model, in case people were keen on specifically the S23+ model.

Logging in via the student or EPP portal, the S23+ is discounted to £899 (RRP: £1049) and can go down to £649 if including the £150 cashback and £100 guaranteed trade-in. It also comes with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, which get automatically added to your cart.

For info on cashback, see here: samsung-offers.claims/sum…-GB

I bought this phone in May, wish I'd held out as the cashback and buds is a better deal for me than a £300 Adidas voucher that has to be used in 1 order. Does anyone happen to have a time machine? (edited)

How can I do this without being a student

If you're employed and your company is signed up for this (it seems like a huge number of companies are - I mean, even my tiny company of 20 people seemed to be), then you can create an account with Perks at Work. You can then use that to get the deal. It's pretty easy.

Anyone get a dispatch notification yet? I ordered shortly after the deal went live and order is sitting @ processing

Mine is processing as well, but I think this is because I went for one of the online exclusive colours (Graphite), which it says will take 3-4 weeks.

It's also only been like 1 or 2 business days since the deal went live, if you consider the weekend. (edited)

Trying to decide which of my many old phones to trade in. Does anyone know how broken a broken phone can be and still be accepted? The T&Cs are a bit confusing - seems like it still has to turn on and hold a charge?
    blobsy123's avatar
Yes broken still has to do both things turn on and charge.
Don't you know Samsung's interpretation of broken is different to the rest of the worlds! :-)

Buds arrived yesterday, s23+ scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Anyone else getting (or already got)theirs?

I am probably a mug for buying the S23 (non-plus) for only £50 less but I am so tired of big bulky phones. I don't use it for watching TV or whatever, I really do not need a pocket cinema.

Interestingly, that was actually my thought process for choosing this instead of getting the S23 Ultra, which is only £50 more than the S23+. I find the plus models to be a good middle ground for my usage though in terms of size/weight/battery, so ended up going for this one (edited)

I really don't understand why deals like EPP are put into the normal deals. Often click through to find I can't use them. Any deal that require some kind of membership and not available to the everybody should be filtered out.
    Ruzzy's avatar
I agree, as it's essentially closed to the general public there should be a filter for them

Not seeing this on Samsung EPP?
I only get the free ear buds for S23 Ultra option.
Is it specific to student login?

I did it with EPP via Perks at Work. You have to add the phone to your cart and then the earphones will automatically be added there as well.

Where is the cashback? I thought only S23 Ultra was valid for cashback. This is trade in only.

It says it at the top of the page as well as in the offer section.

"Save up to £150, plus claim up to £150 cashback when you buy S23 or S23+"

"Claim up to £150 cashback when you buy the Galaxy S23 | S23+"

Thanks so much! This is such a good offer! With cashback and trading in a super old iPhone 8 I had from years ago (£300 total), I will end up with an s23 and buds for £449. An absolute steal! Especially as I needed new headphones too.

(Went for the smaller model as I have tiny hands and the camera was the same as the s23+. Wasn’t worth the extra £100 to me).

Does the phone need to be in good condition? No cracks etc?

Buds are £125 on my one

Is 669 with trade in a good deal for S23+ 256GB version? I know that this deal is even cheaper but I prefer S23+ for a couple of reasons. Thanks
    dudi419's avatar
    Ok I went for it.
So I paid 669 for above phone, trading in my S20+. I got free Buds2 Pro + up to 150 cashback so if I am lucky and I'll get full 150 cashback the phone will cost me 519 and I will definitely sell the Buds2 Pro as I don't need them.
Jesus I am sweating from all those combinations and spending that much money (I know how much it's worth but for the last 10 years or so I was constantly on the contract/had free phone from work) on the phone!
    I think I need a beer! (edited)
