Bigger cover screen
Galaxy Z Flip5 opens up a world of possibilities for you, even when it’s closed. With a bigger cover screen (than Galaxy Z Flip4), it lets you express yourself with a bespoke look, use widgets to control your apps, or capture the perfect selfie.

Best of both worlds
Galaxy Z Flip5 is small when you want it to be discreet, big when you want it to perform. Snap it shut, pop it in your purse or pocket, and you’ll barely know it’s there. Then when the moment calls, flip it open to get all the room you need for video calls and streaming on a generous 6.7” screen, all powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Overall slimmer design makes it even more compact, with a more immersive display, than Galaxy Z Flip4.

Selfies never looked so good
You can use your main camera as a selfie camera for higher quality pics. FlexCam allows you to adjust your shot to the ideal angle, and QuickShot lets you use the cover screen to perfect your pose, even when the phone is shut. The main 12MP camera lets in more light and reduces lens flare for even more detail, and it also makes every skin tone pop so you always look your best, whatever the lighting.

Tough design
With up to all-day battery life, you’re able to keep calling, texting and scrolling. It’s super robust too, built from tough Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armour Aluminium, so easily withstands bumps and scrapes. Plus, you can keep snapping in the rain thanks to IPX8 water resistance.

Wireless PowerShare
If ever your (Qi compatible) wireless headphones or smartwatch (sold separately) requires a cheeky top up when you're out and about, just pop the phone face down, then place the headphones or smartwatch on the back to commence convenient, wireless charging.

5G enabled
Get ready for the next generation of mobile internet and experience incredible download speeds, or play games without the fear of lag. Please contact your mobile service provider regarding the 5G options currently available to you.

Don't get excited about the chromebook 4. They are having to give them away as not many would want to buy one lol. I got one free with my phone. It had a retails of £299.99 at the time. You would be insane to pay that. I got about £100 for mine on eBay.

There is a list of accepted devices. My Samsung A53 isn't on the list, however, old models are

Buy a Chromebook and a one year Disney+ subscription, get a Galaxy Fold 5 free. Better offer. Improve it even more with a set of gel pens and a weighing scale. (edited)

I think this phone has been a failure for Samsumg thats why running such deals on just released mobile phone.

I don't think so, I think they're trying to increase market share. Device is awesome and very innovative - I think it's aimed at forward thinking techy types

This is the first mobile phone deal I have seen on here in months. I may as well have guessed it was going to be SIM free.

What's happened to all the contract deals I wonder. A thing of the past perhaps with the mobile companies legally exploiting us with increases of 13% in 2022 and a whopping 17.4% in 2023 (02 mobile).

02 keep ringing me as my contract will expire in December. In future ALL my phones will be SIM free.
    TomEames's avatar
Yup and I hope that everyone follows that mindset from now on. I never used to care about the 1-2£ increase. But mine and my misses phone bills with o2 increased nearly £20 a month. Absolute joke one contract has expired and the other runs out in January can’t wait to see the back of them

I'll be all over this phone when it hits £200 in 4 years time

As much as I want to love this phone, the battery life isn't enough for me to justify the price. I think my next phone will be a flip phone... but it would need to have good battery life and a good camera, I'm not ready to give up my p30 pro just yet (edited)

Great deal if anyone is looking for a flip phone, Unfortunately, I have a flip4 and although tempted... it works out to be about £400 to upgrade to the flip5... With the main difference being an extra 1" on the outer screen and a bit better battery life.

    Perhaps hold off for flip6

Think the extra £200 trade-in offer for trading in a flip finished on 5th Sep.

Amazon have a very similar - perhaps a little better if you have a current folding device - deal. £200 coupon saving, and then either trade-in + £100 or trade-in + £200 with a folding device......and the same Chromebook and Disney thing......but also including 3yr extended warranty

Interesting, I posted a deal for the 512gb version for £834 (blue light with trade in, £744 for this variant with the same freebies), went cold but hopefully someone can benefit from it.

Had a Flip 5 delivered recently. The cream colour is lovely with the shiny metal frame.

The inside screen is great and you can't see the crease when watching a video etc. You can however feel it! No issues with the battery life and it even does wireless charging too.

The outside screen is perfect for checking notifications and responding to your family or friends. I have used the Labs setting menu to unlock the ability to use WhatsApp and Google Maps on the front screen.

I have found myself using the front screen more and in general using the phone less.

Now waiting for my chrome book to arrive.

Would an iPhone 6 with a cracked screen meet the trade in requirement? It’s on the list and it only seems to say must not be bent or liquid damaged.
