sorted byYou can recycle a vacuum cleaner of any age, brand, model or condition, as long as you upload an image of your vacuum at an electrical recycling point.
Originally £649. - 20% = £519,
- £150 Trade in = £369 final.

Battery life - don't bother, to be honest, as mine came with 2 batteries. So even good full clean of the house takes no more 1.5 batteries. And quick daily clean - 10-15%

I have a an old handheld Beldray with dead battery that has been sat in the garage for the last couple of years. I have accumulated enough other junk ready for a tip run. This gives me the incentive to take it there (actually it was the Jet 75 Crampton & Moore deal for me).
There may well be a B&Q, tip or other electrical recycling centre so that the old vacuum can be dropped off on the way somewhere, meaning very little hassle.
