I said it before, and I will say it again: Crucial X8 double the speed and same capacity, is £56 at Amazon. Samsung T7 double the speed also, cheaper than this one, at Argos.
Unless the rugged factor is important to you, I see no reasons why you should pay more for lower specs.
I'm not saying this is a good or a bad price. All I'm saying is that at this moment of time, we have much better deals available. (edited)

The way you miss "Life's best moments" is by fiddling with your phone or camera trying to store the experience instead of living it. This item will help you review the moment you missed later, probably on a tiny screen. Your actual memory will be of trying to get touch-screen buttons to register. (edited)

As much as I agree with some of your sentiment. I've never missed a moment due to fiddling trying to get touchscreen buttons to register.

    Few suggested solutions for you:
    Use a non-touchscreen device,
Capture at a wide enough angle that you don't need to watch the screen,
Get other people to capture the moments for you if you want to be more present.
Get better at using your phone or don't use it at all if you are missing precious moments.

I also recommend the Samsung T7 for £50 to £60 for 1tb - I own one and a reputation for reliability
