DESCRIPTION
Runs smooth. Feels amazing.

Every bit of the Guide 15 was designed with three things in mind: total comfort, a light feel, and an unbelievably smooth ride. It’s softer, it’s springier, and it’s made to hug your foot like nothing else you’ve put on before. Delivering the running experience of your dreams, only it’s very, very real.

Just a heads up, I made my first order with these on Jan 2nd for two pairs of Sauconys. They've not been dispatched yet and they change the status every day to say they'll dispatch the following day. They're also awful with their comms as I don't receive any updates other than the ones I get by logging on. They've not answered any of the questions I've emailed to them and have only replied via Twitter (with a message suggesting they'd post them tomorrow, they didn't, obviously).

I've ordered from them a bunch of times and I guess it's something about their business model (i.e. typically selling older stock that the brand haven't been able to shift). Maybe they get the inventory available before actually having their hands on the stock or something? Anyway, I've never had any problems with them so long as you're not in a rush.

Same for me I'm afraid with a different pair of trainers. Ordered on 4th December with a dispatch date of December 16th. By the 4th January they still hadn't been dispatched nor had they responded to any of my three previous emails. Ended up requesting and getting a refund. Which to be fair was sorted pretty quickly. Unless you opt out they will send you two or three emails a day. (edited)

Thanks for highlighting, I heard usually delivery is late from Sportpursuit, not responding isn't great. Keep us posted.

Frogman is right in that it's always sage to get some gait analysis done so that you're buying the correct shoes.

I'm novice in running, and was searching new shoes and found these. Are these good or a north face running shoes deal, can any pro runner suggest?

What sort of running are you thinking of doing? These look to be geared for trail running though you'd probably get better trail running, erm, trainers for a similar price.

As someone who was a novice to running a few years ago, I would recommend going to a specialist running shop first for a gait analysis & some advice. If you're not to fussy about brands or this year's model, they will probably have some affordable alternatives for you.

I usually go to a running shop every 2 years to check what might be the best new shoes. Buying online is ok once you know what kind of a runner you are...

Trying to access the site but not recognising new email/password. Great sales prevention technique!

Definitely a hot deal, they also had a good price on peregrines but echo the comments about buying from sportpursuit. Long delivery and I once got a wrong size sent but their prices are irresistible sometimes. (edited)

Price is good if you need stability trainers. The website is brilliantly annoying. I rather pay a bit more somewhere else

Be prepared to wait for your delivery. The Guides I order on 29/12 were only delivered this week. The Peregrines in ordered 2/1 have yet to appear.
I’m usually a Kayano wearer when it comes to road shoes but I love my peregrines for trail so took a punt a this price to try the guides. Feel good on in the house but will be keeping to trails until this frost shifts . Great deal if you can afford it to have a spare pair set aside.

Bought a pair of Rides just after xmas. Delivered yesterday. To be fair to them, when I placed the order it did state that due to demand that delivery would be mid Jan. Bargain price for a decent pair of runners- Boom🔥

Mandmdirect.co.uk also have Saucony trainers at good prices. Order a few pairs for choice and free postage and buy the £2.50 return label and send the rest back. I struggled to find a company with free returns. I ordered 14 pairs

MandMDirect far better with refunds than these smaller shops like Sportsshoes and Sport Pursuit too

Please be aware, while you order it might show US size, so please do check size guide properly.

Bear in mind that the Guides are stability shoes. The equivalent regular ones are the Ride series (which are excellent). So you should only be getting these if you know you need the stability.

Does anyone know if ladies and mens trainers in this brand are different or is it juts colour?
    highdon's avatar
Width is different on Saucony. Women's shoes in the same size will be narrower compared to mens.
