Just had a caution warning on a Seagate 5TB from CrystalDisk I've had since around 2015. Never used mymemory before

MyMemory has been around for a while. Legit company.

Another 10 Quid to get Crucial 2 TB SSD.. The rate for 5TB HDD is too much..

Depends on your needs. I've purchased a couple of HDDs recently for cold storage, which SSDs aren't suited for.

All the drives I've had fail on me have all been Seagate, oh and one old maxtor back in the day lol

Even my 8TB external USB3 XBOX drive is literally on its last legs making all sorts of noise as im typing this. (edited)

That's bad luck. I never had a Seagate disk failed but 3 WD drives did, which is probably also just bad luck. £95 for 5gb isn't a good price IMO. (edited)

I wish these would drop like the ssd prices.

Bought one of these for 65 quid many years ago. New and sealed btw (edited)

If you drop these, they wouldn't be happy. Especially if they were powered on...

Isn't this the going rate for 5tb nowadays? Not much of a deal really

eBuyer is about the £110 mark, so it's a fairly good deal. The £20 saving can be spent on beer, which you can sip while copying files to the HDD. Good times.
